"I never spoke to Arum about or pushed for a fight with Mayweather at anytime."

    in an interview with ESPN

Cotto(e) shits on all of the work his fanboys have done for him in recent years with that one statement.

This "pre-Margarito/Pacquiao" Cotto would also be up against a more mobile, faster and more in prime Mayweather. While we would have liked to see Floyd and Cotto when they were both undefeated around 140 and 147, keep in mind that Cotto and his team specifically said they weren't ready for Mayweather. Also while Cotto might have been riding high as an undefeated fighter, he'd still be fighting the task of Mayweather.

I don't believe Cotto would have beaten Floyd at 140 or 147.

Damn I didn't know that Floyd was still in his prime picking on someone who isn't in their prime.

Because Mayweather is (arguably) past his prime too, and right now Cotto is looking pretty good for bieng past prime..

Why? Because when Cotto was "prime" he wasn't chomping at the bit to fight Mayweather. When you look at Cotto's career he is only two disputed fights out of his prime. First, the avenged loss to Margarito. Second, the shady catchweight fight against Pac. Cotto has looked great as of late. The same can't be said when Pac fought Cotto.

Anyway, prime or not, this fight ends the same. Prime Cotto had his hands full with post prime Judah. Anyone thinking he has more than a puncher's chance then or now is a fool.

    Boxing hacks will criticize though.

UNSHOT is a term used by uneducated people. I prefer REJUVENATED, it sounds so british, more sophisticated, more James Bondlike.
