Not my question but Castillo did make his last fight like 2 weeks ago on WED NIGHT FIGHTS(ESPN) when he lost to Lujan by UD.So yeah he is retired and good thing because he didnt look good at all.

i agree that floyd is that much better than anyone else. but if you want to pose the question "why hate floyd" don't pass judgment on a margarito fight - which none of us know what will happen anyway.

the MAIN REASON why people build up allegiances against fighters is when others pull down their rivals dismissively.

there's no such thing as floyd will beat margarito, but if that's your best defence then you're adding fuel to the fire.

Floyd is a once in a generation talent with who loves to boast and has turned himself into a brand. When you're on top, people want to see you fall. When on you're on top and you have no problem letting people know how good you are or how good you have it; people want to see you fall and break your neck. When you conduct yourself like a business man and approach your fights as so, hardcore fans will resent you. This is generally why people don't like Floyd.

In the end, it doesn't really matter whether or not people hate him. I think his goal in the end was just for people watch him, and that's exactly what happened. He's retired undefeated, he'll be a first ballot HOFer, most historians will consider him an ATG, and he has enough money to last him forever.
