I'm a fair guy,you said it well but I call it ducking everytime some idiot comes along the way and say that Diaconu ducked Dawson!!!Tarver is not the better fighter anymore,when was the last time he looked good in a good fight?

Thats not a valid argument. Its to easy and based on the speculative inner value of a boxer. Fact are he broke a contract.

 

Man I'm talking lookin good like going in there to KO the guy in a good fight,what did he do?he outboxed a guy in a extremely boring fight,Bernard was right,when did Tarver look good after him,never.Woods wasn't even in his prime like when he fought Roy.Did you enjoy that fight?

Yeah but he still looked good in that fight. Also, he KO'd his opponent before that in 4 rounds. Diaconu did not look good in his last fight. Most boxing writers and analyst have Tarver ranked ahead of Diaconu.

 

Say what you want Tarver is a proven vet with a track record against the elite, the Shark isn't. Tarver hasn't had many fights or wars. I will still stand by it Tarver is a better fighter than the Shark and more dangerous. Not to mention this fight menas more for the divison than a fight between the Shark and Dawson.

 

Exactly. The Shark arguably lost to Henry a lot of people think Henry won that fight. I admit as to only have seen the last round that was posted on youtube and the Shark looked terrible.

 

No he didn't. There was a purse bid that Diaconu's promoter won. Dawson would've been given a certain amount based on him being the champ. For their to be a contract, there has to be an offer and an agreement. Dawson never agreed to fight Diaconu. Therefore, there never was a contract for him to break.

 

The let me tell you that how Tarver lookked good in that one Dawson is gonna ''look good'' and outbox Tarver for 12 boring rounds.Don't even mention the Santiago fight,so what,he KOd a guy expected to beat and looked bad doing that,if you remember he was BOOed of the ring.Diaconu looked good for 9 rounds due to various reasons,ina good fight and he almost had the guy out of there in the 8th.Agre with the rankings,Tarver ahead of Diaconu but Tarver is done.

 

So what? If every where cowards and could not hold there word and respect a contract there would be no such thing as a contender(Diaconnu in this case). Guy would just keep on fighting each other in a privilied circle of fools.
