Why Hate Floyd Mayweather

I don't know who's gonna win, I havent took the time analyzing the fight yet. But one thing I disagree about your post, is the idea that Floyd will fight inside and just block Margo's punches. In all honesty, that would be the dumbest plan Floyd could ever come up with. Floyd CAN'T, I repeat, CAN'T bang with Margo on the inside. As much as you like to think that Floyd has Godspeed, he'll still gonna be hit by 1 or 2 of Margo's punches, and it will definitely affect him. Floyd might win most of those exchanges, but at the end of every exchange the one who's gonna be affected the most would not be Margo, but Floyd. Cotto was a harder puncher than Floyd, but even he couldnt afford to get into exchanges against Margo. So what do you think Margo's gonna do to Floyd?

Mayweather can't block Margo's punches either, you saw how Cotto was still affected by Margo's punches even though its blocked?

I already know the whole story. They had a contract for a September fight in 2007. Diaconu bowing out of that fight made that contract null and void. There has been no other contract since. Also, the front page articles are written by posters. Many of them are writing with extreme bias and aren't even journalist. The fact remains, Dawson never breeched any contract with Diaconu. He breeched a contract with the WBC, which is why he was stripped, but not with Diaconu. Again, no fighter in there right mind would've turned down the Tarver fight in order to go to Diaconu's backyard to fight him for the same money. It just doens't make sense.

Are we now going to criticsize every fighter who decides not to fight their mando? Even, when they're fighting a higher ranked fighter? There's plenty of criticism to go around. There have been a ton of fighters who have dropped their belts to seek higher profile fights.

 

No,wrong after the september fight didn't go,Dawson wanted Diaconu's mandatory position revoked but the WBC but they said:have a defense in january and then Diaconu in march,then he fought Glen in april simply disobeing the WBC and lied about fighting the winner of Diaconu vs Henry.And yes no fighter would go in the other's backyard but he never wanted Canada as well as Romania,come on,if Gary Shaw doesn't give a damn about him to win a bid that's not Diaconu's problem.What,if Shaw losses every bid from now on will Dawson refuse to fight every opponent.And the article is bias at the end,the story is true in it

 

Yeah but not for the same money.Offcourse he wants to fight a 40 yo in his country where he can win but if he is so good come in Romania or at least Canada and stop Diaconu or put a clinic and win

 

The fight was to be held in Romania. Dawson would be stupid to go there and risk getting jobbed when he can fight Tarver for similar money in the U.S. Once again, Dawson would get more praise for beating Tarver than he would Diaconu.

 

Alright, we seem to have a failure to communicate here. There was no fight contract between Diaconu and Dawson. Diaconu was Dawson's mando. Being a fighter's mando is not equivlant to having a contract to fight that fighter. Shaw didn't put up much for the purse bid because he knew he could get the fight with Tarver. Look, Dawson broke his agreement with the WBC and was stripped as a result. If Diaconu really wants to fight Dawson, he can go after him after they both win their next fights. I have a feeling though that Diaconu has lost interest in fighting Dawson now that he has that belt.
