The only fault I can see is if this offer was made after Witter said he would fight for free, which I don't believe it was.

I don't know if £100,000 was more than Witter's previous best payday, I know you made a thread on it but I don't think there were any definite answers.

The way I look at it, Hatton V Mayweather was Hatton's biggest fight and I'm sure if he was offered a similar purse to his previous best pay day he would have been insulted. So by the same token I think Ray Hatton shouldn't have been so insulting in offering what he did.

Frank Warren said recently during his time promoting Hatton the main reason why the fight with Witter never happened was because of one person RAY HATTON DID NOT WANT IT. yeah thats right not Ricky but RAY. it just shows you what a greedy man RAY HATTON is he is more concerned about the easy pay days than Ricky is.

I would have thought the same too. Although when Ray Hatton said that, he did also mention the offer from Witter to fight for free, so maybe it was afterwords. Either that or he's getting mixed up with the timeline of it all, I don't know.

I still think Witter should have accepted, though. He had a chance to make a name for himself and didn't take it. He's ruined his career because of it.

I'd have to trust Hatton Sr. on this one. He said it would have been his biggest payday and he should know. When I made that thread though, I did say that I thought Witter would have made more, if you reember. It's shocking how little money Witter has made.

If that was his biggest payday, I wonder what he got for fighting Judah...

The Witter vs Hatton fight should have happened after Witter fought Lauri, with all the contracts that had been signed, still it never happened, Warren wouldnt even give Witter a shot at Corley, so he left the Warren stable.

It's blindingly obvious Hatton ducked Witter for years, the fact that Witter lost to Bradley does nothing to chance that.

 

I think there's a bit of difference in the context of those two quotes. When Ray Hatton said "We offered Witter his biggest purse" it's because he did. Saying "Ricky never insulted Floyd" was used in comparison to Witter's tactics of provoking Hatton.

I'm not saying he is always truthful. I just don't think he could getaway with telling such a big lie. If he had of done I think we would have had a few quotes from Witter denying it, don't you?

OK, so you get an email notification that someone has replied to you, which shows you what they said? So, what is the point in blocking them.

Also, I blocked you here a while ago when you were being even more of an obnoxious wanker than you are now, you decided that you could beat me by blocking me too but, typically, you kept replying to my posts, even posts that didn't involve you, I see you still haven't blocked me.

It would appear you are too scared of missing out on anything, especially if it involves your name or Hattons name, to actually block anyone.


EDIT: Also, regarding "whoever doesn't agree with you", well, my post was not about Hatton, it was about you being a liar and an obnoxious egomaniac. Also, please find something I have said where you can rationally disagree with me, I haven't seen it happen yet because I have posted nothing but fact, where as you post your dillusional guesswork.
