Team Adamek threw the challenge out to Haye for a HW fight, but team Haye came back and said that Haye is unavailable for that time as he is in the process of healing a fractured ovary from his last menstration cycle.

Too much risk and no reward for Haye apparently. This fight would have been awesome and made much more sense than Chisora/Haye. I would pick Adamek to win this one.

**** off Lance, I've already speculated why the fight has never happened either at CW or HW.

These days Haye will only fight for a major payday, something he wont get fighting Adamek in Jersey.

I guess on ESB that = ducking

If Haye nurtures your sexual abstinence, I watch fighters based on ability.

Yet he's acheived more, won more titles & earned far more money than Adamek ever has or ever will, funny that.

Haye not taking a paycut for a non-title fight with an unremarkable HW = duck, only on ESB.

Yes it does. Chisora was coming off losses to Vitali, Helenius and Fury with only 18 professional fights in total. Adamek is coming off a loss to Vitali. Take a look at Adamek's choice of opponents at heavyweight and compare with Chisora. Very simple really if we look at it logically not based on media hype, press conference yelling and other trash of that sort.

Haye shits on his fans, just like he shits on his legacy, it's his bank account that's most important

if he had at least a fraction of the heart that Adamek has (funnily, the most active top HW out there today, fighting on an average 3-4 times a year), he'd have much more to be proud of

    That is ridiculous.

What you're saying is, if we exclude the public demand to see the fight and the money it generated then Haye - Adamek would have made more sense?

Nobody outside of hardcore fans wanted to see Haye-Adamek, whereas Haye - Chisora had huge demand, grossed a lot of money and filled a football stadium.

I think a fight with huge public interest, which generates a lot of money and fills a stadium makes more sense than a fight with very little demand, makes less money and wouldn't draw half as big an attendance.

Also, if we ignore boxrec we know that Chisora actually beat Helenius (which is a better win than any Adamek has at HW) and gave Klitschko not just a tougher fight than Adamek, but his toughest fight in years.

Style wise, Haye fighting a genuine HW pressure fighter with an great chin is a better match up than seeing him fight a blown up CW with no power and a suspect chin.

No offense but I have to ignore all the points you made about how the public was interested in Haye-Chisora because you're not telling me anything I don't know. I was interested in that fight based on the hype as well and tuned in for it like never before.

Style wise, Haye was fighting an inexperienced one-dimensional plodder and that pretty much had excitement written all over it, will Haye get knocked out or will Chisora get outclassed to a decision. A fight with Adamek would have done more for Haye's record at heavyweight regardless of whether you or I think Adamek has power, chin or whatever. Adamek did more at heavyweight in my personal opinion.

Are you serious? When the **** did you stop looking at boxing as a sport dude? Give me a break...only fight for paydays? And you think that's just fine? Yeah....**** it, I don't need to fight other contenders, I just need a loud mouth and hope one of the K bros takes me up AGAIN... :patsch Fans like you are pathetic and give REAL fans a bad name. And BTW, if a fighter can't gurantee his own payday on his own merits, then all he's doing by looking for a big pay day is to cash out. That used to be frowned upon. But I guess for today's newer fans, that's just fine huh?

Toughness do it for ya? This is fighting after all. HOw about staying sharp and active? You need to stop looking at boxing like it's a ****in video game. *In your nerdy voice* "Oh lets see....Haye is faster, taller, makes more money, blah blah blah....Haye wins!"
