He talks a lot more than everyone else. His just more of a personality than other promotors have been.

Chisora came pretty close to giving a squeaky voiced Hearn a dig. Haha.

You answered your own question. He's not likeable, he's a smarmy, smug, door to door salesman who stands up and tells lies to push his products like we can't see through him.

People come to see the fighters not him.

    It’s a simple answer:

    If it looks like a snake,acts like a snake, it’s a snake.

Think its the ppv angle. Hearns done well for British boxing but he's pushed the ppv platform up a couple of notches since he took over. Hes went from putting on good main events and good undercards to average main events with good undercards to average main events with average undercards. Its hard not to boo. But the reality is if your wanting any sort of decent fights continually like he's putting on your gonna have to pay for them. It is banter to an extent as well.

I think people are just getting impatient and want to see the Wilder fight.

No one wants to see AJ Whyte 2

As the poster above me said, pantomime villain.

I'm not sure how it works in other countries or if it's even a thing, but here in the UK we learn to boo the comedy villain from a very young age!

Take captain Hook. Classic pantomime villain who will get boo'd up and down any stage.

It's mostly in good jest but foreigners can take it to heart.

It’s pantomime. It’s a “thing” we do. It’s not real hate.

I think it’s coz he likes the sound of his own voice, that comes with haters as well as fans. Hearn doesn’t mind though long as you boo him from his events you are supporting him anyway.

It’s just become a running joke now, that’s why AJ always asks the crowd for a cheer or clap for Hearn. He knows what the reaction will be and the crowd play along. I don’t think people actually hate him. That’s a strong emotion and to genuinely hate someone you don’t know and doesn’t affect your life is sad

He put a 29-8 fighter in a headline PPV event that wasn't even for a title, of course he got ****ing booed.

Also the "it's because of his success" fallacy is nauseating. People don't like him because he constantly lies, belittles anyone who thinks differently to him, has the silver spoon backing, was a bully at school and has little interest in doing anything that isn't profitable. "But he's a promoter, that's what he should do!" right and it's perfectly fine to hate him for it.

    He's always been booed.

He's the panto villain getting rich whilst two men risk their lives in the ring.
