As some people might have noticed the WBA rankings have been "bizzare" these past few months. While all the alphabet rankings are highly subjective lately the WBA have decided to go totally rogue. Is there a reason for this? Did something happen over there?
The WBA rankings have been farcical for many years. Just like the joke of the WBA "regular" belt. The worst governing organisation by a long way. And that's saying something.
Promoters go to them and ask for fighters to be ranked. ... Not a WBA thing, a bodies thing. Sometimes, usually when they're the odd one out, like as in the names on their lists are different not just in different places, usually it's because no promoter is buying spots and so they're forced to rate by minor belts and bodies. 9/10 that's the case. It's super rare with Fishyes or somesuch decides they're just gonna buy one spot for a guy.
