Why Haye might lose to Valuev

If haye lost to Valuev, I would be surprised.

 

I never gave it much consideration but Valuev could win this. That would spoil a future Klit beatdown of Haye which I wanted to see.

Valuev has good stamina for his size and he is an awkward guy to fight and its not like there are other 7 foot 300 lb guys around to spar to prepare for him.

Valuev has been hurt before but if he concentrates on defense in the early rounds and doesnt get KOed he very well may win the fight.

Actually I dont think Haye can decision Valuev, I think he needs a KO to win.

 

I wonder what Valuev can do to win this bout. If you assume Haye makes no mistake and boxes without gassing, from the outside, taking round by round.

I think Valuev would panic come round 7-8 and go all out attacking, floundering and running into Haye. Should be interesting.

Do you know what, he may very well lose to Valuev. But so have 40 + other fighters. Only Chagaev has beaten him and even then it was close. If Haye wins this then it will be a MAJOR achievement.
