Why HBO gave only one million for the Golovkin-Vanes fight?

    This was the most watched fight in the last 2 years in free television, and this was the No.1 ticket sale in the StubHub history.

    And i dont think it is a surprise because everybody knows how popular GGG is. Of course not a PPV megastar like Canelo or Joshua, but still.

    They expected backlash from the Canelo ordeal to hurt the ratings. I had a feeling the purse wouldn't be very large and I was right.
