Do people think that if 3G was black he would be praised like he is or would people criticize his level of opposition the same way! Personally, I think it would be about the same. I believe the majority of fans love the sport and respect the fighters, regardless of color or race. Not all but, most. I feel most of the hate or criticism of G is not so much about G himself but his fans. Some of the things they have said is pretty far out there and really unproven. Things like ,G can move up and beat heavy weights, he would beat all past great middle weights and he could fight into his 50's. Come on, anyone that watches a few rounds of G knows he's a real talent but, to say some of the things that have been said will get people heated real quick, not just blacks!

When GGG fights a guy like Tito who was favored against Hopkins at 160 I might add or goes from 160 to 175 and fights a guy like Tarver then holla at me until then log back off and go back to the old alt you were posting under.

 

I think it's sad that people who hate Golovkin try the play the rabid fans card.
Every top fighter has rabid fans that claim things that can never been proven and/or totally exaggerated. Just take the "The Best F-er" fans out here, or the Pacmaniacs, and Lara is some boogieman somehow. Some of them even still worship Canelo over here, and believe he knocks anyone over at MW but gets held back by GBP.
And there's the thing. Some of these rabid fans of other boxers, hate on Golovkin and then play that same rabid fans card as an excuse.

The worst of the bunch aare the ones that blame Golovkin for others running away... "he should just have paid them a frickin' fortune to get them in the ring". "he should have taken 10%, a catch weight and shut up, with his belts on the line"... I mean where do you see that sh_t?!

Hopkins is a legend, Golovkin is becoming one... it's that easy.

 

No way . Bad News Brit called it out clearly and too many posters agreed with him for me not to call out the obvious. I get called a racist by 100% of the poster who agree with this thread for less. He clearly said that GGG is hated because he is white and I want proof from him. It's full on racial now. Not because Golovkin won't fight Ward, or that he is chasing Canelo without a belt, or that GGG fought a welterweight after getting his fans to attack Canelo for it,or that anytime some calls him out they are considered racist (shout out to Shockmaster, Drenlou, and co) for being called racist black slurs by rednecks on this forum.

 

You're a alt troll with no credibility. Hopkins is 1000000 times more proven than GGG is he dared to be great. GGG doesn't have it in him and will never be as great as Hopkins.

Willie, you have also alleged that Golovkin gets special treatment because he's white - which to me is the same type of argument as Bad News Brit was making. Arguing one way or another does not make you a racist in my books - I didn't call you one either.

All I wanted to do was respond to what you said: "so all Black people hate GGG like all white people hate Mayweather".

It really doesn't need to be that way. I come from a country which does not have many serious problems with racial relations. It's cool to be black, it's cool to be white, it's cool to be Asian, Polynesian, Russian, etc. We should not take racial animosity as a given.

You mentioned that Shockmaster, drenlou, and co. regularly get called racists. Shockmaster is a troll, sorry, and has lost all credibility for his excessive clear trolling a few months ago. drenlou is fine, we've had many good discussions, and I've never called him a racist.

 

Cool. I'm done with the racial stuff anyway. But I won't relent on bashing the hypocrisy of GGG's most loyal crew on this forum.
