Another reason why the KO brothers dont fight in USA very much....like Wlad said 2-3 weeks after the Brewster fight........."We have learned our lesson well, boxing in europe is Sport...Boxing in USA is BIG BUSINESS...."!

The bookies have an expression that demonstrates EXACTLY why it is highly likely that Wlad WAS poisoned. The expression is "You can't hide the money!".

No matter how clever criminals are at fixing college basketball games, for example, sooner or later the criminal HAS to do one thing. He MUST do this one thing, or there was no point in criminally fixing the game. The one thing he MUST do is......BET MONEY ON THE FIXED GAME. 'No point in fixing the game if you're not going to put big money on the game......and once the money appears, the bookies know instantly that something unusual is happening, since they know very well roughly how much is normally bet on certain types of games...or fights......and how the bets are normally distributed between the favorite and the underdog.

If all the Vegas bookies combined normally take, for example, a total of between $300,000 and $500,000 on a minor-level college hoops game, and suddenly strangers are turning up all over Vegas betting huge amounts on a favorite to not cover the Vegas spread, the bookies sit up and pay attention. The easiest fix in hoops is for the favorites to agree to win, but not cover. They still go home with the W on their record, but don't win by enough to cover the spread. So if suddenly there is $4 MILLION bet on the sort of game that normally only gets 1/10th that much action, and it's all on the favorite to not cover, the books know before the game even STARTS that something is rotten.

If then, during the game, there are a lot of suspicious missed free throws, fouls, etc, and sure enough the favorites win but fail to cover, the books don't NEED any other evidence...they KNOW they were screwed by a fixed game. People who don't really understand the betting business might not be sure, but the books are sure...because money doesn't lie.

In the case of the Wlad/Brewster fight, the books knew before the fight even started that there was a good chance that something criminal was afoot. Odds do NOT drop from 11 to 1, all the way down to just over 3 to 1 in just a day or two. That requires very, very large amounts of money, ALL coming in on the underdog....in this case, Brewster. There was NO news, and NO developments of any kind that could have justified this sudden appearance of huge amounts of money for Brewster. For example, there has been a drop in the odds on the Tyson Fury/Derrick Chisora fight, but everyone knows the REASON for this, and the reason is that Chisora has inexplicably come in 15 pounds over weight and people rightfully wonder if he is really coming to win. But even in this case, the odds have only dropped SLIGHTLY, despite there being a very, very good REASON for a drop in odds.....the favorite coming in soft and apparently out of shape.

For the odds on Brewster against Wlad to drop from +1100 all the way down to +350 or so is virtually unprecedented in boxing betting history. And again, there was NO reason for this to happen...Wlad wasn't overweight, sick with flu.....nothing. It almost would have been a surprise after betting activity that suspicious if the fight had gone NORMALLY.

Sure enough....miracle of all miracles....the fight went exactly how you would EXPECT a fight to go on which there was hugely suspicious betting activity in favor of the underdog. The favorite (Wlad) looked sick and disoriented, and was acting strangely from the start.

Even overlooking all other aspects that look odd..... the fact that an outsider apparently was given an all-access pass.....the mysteriously destroyed blood samples from Wlad (that would have been concrete evidence against the fixers) being suddenly destroyed.....overlooking ALL of that.....the one thing remains. The thing that bookies know better than anyone. You almost know when a fix is in BEFORE the game/fight even starts. Because......YOU CAN'T HIDE THE MONEY.

This doesn't mean Brewster was in on it...in fact I doubt very much that he would have been. Brewster was and is a nice guy, a stand up guy. But he wouldn't NEED to be in on it. One or two rotten apples somewhere close to the fight.....that's all it takes. A few drops in the water bottle, or pre-fight meal, and bingo. But the ultimate truth detector in this case is pointing right to GUILTY....and that truth detector is the bookie's favorite old axiom....you simply can not hide the money.

Brewster was almost knocked out in the early rounds, which clearly indicates that the fight wasnt fixed. Notice one thing that Wladimir started that fight very aggressive and went for the KO, something that he doesnt do nowadays. He wasted his energy. Probably thought that Brewster couldnt withstand his assult but he did.

Were not talking about a fix, but sabotage!! And sabotage is not always 100% sure. But if word got out that Wladimir was gonna get drugged, then that would help Brewster's odds of winning.
Wladimir was just so much more superor to Brewster that he almost KO'd him first..........
