If you think boxing forums are already filled with clueless pac fans aka pacfucs that know only Pacquiao & 0 else ? Its gonna be like a never ending nightmare bull**** talking circus if Manny beats FMJ. I think Mayweather is gonna win & tbh, I hope Im right.... every fighters fans have dumbasses but Manny`s take the cake... unbelievable, truly truly terrible.
Any person's personal life is none of our business and in today's ''reality show'' world, we need to remember that to put us back on track. Now I'm a big boxing fan and have been for a long time, therefore I strongly love the game first before appreciating particular boxers. In Mayweather's case, I have seen or met so very few people, dismiss his incredible ring abilities, and even less coming from real knowledgeable fans. He's a total pleasure to watch exhibit his one of a kind talent. With that being said, I don't see why people couldn't say that they don't appreciate his conduct in regards to boxing, his many disrespectful comments and his overall pretentious attitude. Most likely Immature, and I insist saying immature adults, will go on to hate him. Most other adults don't hate but they don't approve of what I just mentioned in this paragraph.. Therefore, I don't see a problem with people that just point certain things they don't appreciate about Floyd as long as it has to do with boxing in some way... I mean his family, friends and way of life in general is nobody's business but the way he acts with the boxing world, what he says about the boxing world and the way he feels in regards to the boxing world will generate responses and rightfully so. I am sure that at the very start of their high appreciation of Mayweather, most fans that are now considered ''NUTHUGGERS'', were simply content to love his skills. The problem is that through time, many..and I mean many have taken a way too serious role to protect no matter what, every comment and action coming from Floyd. Those called ''NUTHUGGERS'' now make it a full time duty on boards like this to defend no matter what..even if it doesn't make sense.... That very attitude has led them to place everyone in the ''Hater'' category even if in many occasions that analogy is plain ridiculous...
Ur one of the more rational posters on here who criticizes Floyd and I respect that. Ur critique in this case goes both ways. You feel as though Floyd fans defend him too much, but Floyd haters attack him and his every move too much and tend to be big hypocrites. I they would just say that they just dont like him and move him thats fine. But they try and discredit him and his accomplishments based on Faulty logic. Im not saying that everything Floyd does or says is right, but a lot of the hate is irrational.
The also fit many haters of Floyd who will look at one side of an issue when it comes to floyd and usually its the side that against floyd. Many so called knowledgeable will ignore facts regardless of the source Example: Arum went on record stating that Floyd excepted the 8 million dollar offer to fight Margarito, which was part of a THREE fight deal which included Hatton and Cotto. Arum stated the deal fell through because Floyd would not except the 7 million offered to fight Hatton and Cotto. Now this is a statement Arum made during an interview with ESPN, yet many of floyd distractor ignore this lil fact and will continue to states Floyd ducked Margarito and Cotto because he was scared. Now to ignore these facts is just plain ignorance to its fullest, and this why you have people that defend floyd because allot of the accusations made are false but are passes along as fact..
I'm a PBF fan just because I like watching the guy fight. I don't know him as a person so I really care about his attitude or persona. I don't watch boxing because I like a guys personality.Who a man is in his personal time is his business. I watch boxing since I like the sport.
I don't understand it. His personality is irritating and he doesn't even make exciting fights. He's **** in and out of the ring (talented, yeah, but lately his fights are quite boring)
I like to watch the guy fight. I don't give a **** what he does outside of the ring, I just think he's a brilliant fighter. All this bull**** about not liking him outside of the ring is ridiculous. Jeremy Piven seems like a giant douchebag in all respects but I'll still watch Entourage because he's a fine actor.
I think watching a guy put on a nearly flawless defensive performance is exciting. I would hope that most boxing fans would appreciate that, but I guess some don't.
It takes a lot for me to dislike a fighter based on what they do outside the ring. Sugar Ray Robinson, Diego Corrales, Joe Louis, and others did some really despicable things outside the ring but I love watching them inside the ring. How they carry themselves in public doesn't mean all that much to me. No matter if it's a genuine or phony persona, it doesn't affect what I care about, their styles and performances in the ring. I like boxing because of the art and the "beautiful brutality", not because I like their personalities/public personas.
you know what's even funnier....i can recall a guy name ricky hatton along with his trainer laughing and mocking the way fmj hits those same mits on an episode of 24/7 pre fight. and much more funnier is how his ass went flying into that turnbuckle after running full speed into that check hook :rofl
