Ill be rooting for him against Ward.... Im favoring ward to win it but I hope Froch can pull it off.

The guy doesnt have great speed, great power, great reflexes, great workrate, he doesnt really have great anything, and his technique is one of the ugliest Ive seen from a pro fighter.

But time and time again, he enters the ring with top fighters and through guts, grit, will and strength (and a bit of underrated skill) gets the job done.

He wants to challenge himself by fighting the best, is always up for a scrap and makes good fights when the time comes. He gives respect where respects due, and while he def is a bit delusional, its part of what makes him effective.

Its refreshing to see a fighter who has plenty of reasons to not reach the top, actually make it through hard work and determination, when youve got so many guys in boxing with all the reasons and tools too make it and to see them underachieve.

For the tools Froch possesses, I couldnt ask for more from the guy. I like him and I hope to see him win the super six.

Which win on Froch's resume is as good as Kessler or Hopkins?

Glad you've finally warmed to Froch! It's a far cry from the tone of your comments a few years ago!

    Morale of the story.

    Don't shoot the messenger!

Actually before the fight Johnson had WON 3 out of the last five

A UD to Dawson and Cloud is nothing to be ashamed of from a 42 year old

what are you talking about ? I have always been a Froch fan... I think you're mistaken ..

Maybe you mean Calzaghe? I frequently pointed out the fact that he stayed at home and fought bums for the vast majority of his career. Calzaghe is great , just didn't test himself like he should have.

I've grown to be a big Froch fan, after not being able to stand him, back when he was calling out Calzaghe ad infinitum. The guy is a champ, a true credit to the sport. That said, I still think he lost to Dirrell and will lose to Ward.

He has limited talent but so much heart and passion. But I think Ward is just that much better.
