Why I am supporting Nicky Cook on Saturday

Well in fairness he could beat Cassius Baloyi the IBF champion, and although I'd fancy Valero to beat Arthur god knows how good Valero actually is.
Arthur would be able to beat Francisco Lorenzo aswsell who almost conned his way to the WBC title but I wouldn't fancy him at all against Humberto Soto who will surely take that belt.

So his claims although crazy at the time wouldn't be that bad now and it had been expected several guys would move up at the time, maybe he was taking that into consideration.

Unfortunately Arthur is a Warren fighter so won't be allowed fight any of those guys.

Just heard that Valero is moving up to Lightweight aswell leaving the unheralded Argentinian Israel Perez and former Arthur victim Sergei Gulyakevich to fight for the title. It's starting to look like Arthur winning multiple titles at the weight isn't that crazy after all :shock:

 

Arthur has only been criminally underrated in boxing circles by arrogant englanders who have claimed Irishman Michael Gomez shock win as an english victory. Just like they claim Andy Murray as one of their own cos hes doing well. Anyone who calls themselves british have no pride. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.
I always knew Arthur would be world champ one day, & its going to be sweet watching him wreck that bangers & mash eating cockney caricature Nicky Cook in front of a bunch of thick mancs.

I cannot WAIT to come on here gloating about Alex Arthur. I just hope he doesnt get jobbed by a corrupt english ref though.
