Why I Belive Calzaghe will beat Hopkins

    PW did have gapping defensive flaws, no doubt about it. 100% agree. PW's defense was his offense. He figured if his opponents are too busy dodging/blocking/getting hit by punches they won't have a chance to mount an offesive attack. Calz is known for a similar tactic. Calz defense is better no doubt and his punches are a little heavier than PW's. With that said, it still doesn't change the tactic of mass output that both fighters (calz & PW) use. Calz is a better fighter, has seen more success, and can adapt if the mass output doesn't work. Bottomline is BHop is #1 LHW, Calz is #1 SMW and it will be a battle of styles. Bhop's patience/countering VS Calz' mass output/hand speed. Lets just hope it doesn't turn into a HW type of match with slapping down jabs.:yep

    :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl i ddin't say side stepping blocks punches. when did i say that? and if i did then thats my bad what im saying is b-hop aint the defence master your trying to make him out to be. b-hop is going to look slow and won't be an effective counter puncher . speed has alwas given b-hop trouble ***** now run along :good

    Thats why he gets caught with power shots so much when he does his barrage of fest. He just throws punches from akward angles ..that is ****ing all. His defense is ****ing lousy and he gets hit flush all the time. Bhop NEVER gets hit flush with power shots. BIGGGGGGGGGGG difference.

    The only thing hops lost with his old age is his left hand. He is a one handed fighter. He does not even attempt to throw a power left hook.

    dude he 43 ****ing years old he's not quick of had as he was whe n he was 38 **** he's in shape but he definatly didn't retain his spped thus the pace he fights at now.:-(

    dude im as big a b-hop fan as i am jc i just love the way jc comes in and his confidence but im am not at all blinded. because my opinion differ from yours im now a man lover:yep .:-( get off your high horse newbie you know **** and are just preteding at know point in time have you ever shut me down. i bet your a COMMunist:D

    no not at all i think b-hop will be forced to fight at a faster pace. read the thread starting post. thats just my opinion those this peabitch seems to think im stating this as fact but its just My honest opinion :lol: . he gots his thong in a buch and is pissed off now. i was just answering back to his moronic post. but my opinion is jc will force him to fight at a higher pace thus taking him out of his gameplan this is what i think

    It would be foolish for Calzaghe to try to throw 100 punches per round against Hopkins IMO.

    well it won't be as high but it won't be less then 800 win or lose unlesshe was ko'd before 10. but i think you'll see them both adjut but joe will impose his will , starting around the 4th round you'll see b-hop fighing at a higher pace .
