    and fighting rjj after saying he was done was shocking as well

    so yes you made two perfectly legitamate comments of which i agree

    but you must admit i make some pretty valid points as well

    Yes JC does have a warriors heart getting up off canvas to win several times. I thought the mitchell stoppage was premature. JC looked at the ref and winked "please stop it now i'm punching my self out".

    I understand Warren offering Hopkins 3million or whatever put it was around the time bhop was going to fight DLH for 20million. Alot of JC's problems were down to Warren but he could have done Hatton did and DEMANDED the big fights.

    Do you remember Enzo critising Warren?

    He could have dropped the WBO and he could have left Warren. Look, Hatton demanded the fight because he threatened to leave Warren. JC could have done the same. At one point JC's father was complaining about the direction JC's career was taking.

    Yeah I was being cheeky but it was a premature stoppage. JC showed heart, deterimation and great warrior spirit to get up and stop Mitchell the way he did.

    More precisely it was exactly at the time he was fighting Hakkar, Joppy and Allen.

    If Hopkins had signed the Showtime contract the second fight was to have been against Calzaghe. Instead Hopkins fought Joppy.

    Can you specify what impact Calzaghe 'DEMANDING' (in capital letters) a fight with Hopkins would have made? Would that have made Hopkins sign the contract that he'd agreed?

    No I think it's pretty accurate, hatton's win was far more impressive, especially considering the stoppage (versus a split decision).

    More precisly the Allen fight was a double header called 'Collision Course'. It was the same card DLH faced Sturm on. It was called Collison Course as it was setting up the Bhop vs DLH showdown.

    Hatton insisted Warren pull out all the stops to get the Tzyu fight. Don't know where your from but after each Hatton fight he was asked about the big fights and he made it clear. "Big fights or I'm off".

    What cracked me up even more is Warren gets him the big fight and he leaves him anyway.

    But if Tszyu had said 'erm, no, don't fancy that' then there would have been nothing Warren or Hatton could have done about it. Just as there was nothing Calzaghe or Warren could do when Hopkins didn't fancy the fight. It's a little bizzare to judge fighters by how much bottle their potential opponents show.

    Still don't know why you think Hopkins fighting Calzaghe rather than Joppy would have affected the possibility of a Hopkins/De La Hoya fight?

    Look Hopkins has been guilty of fighting smaller less dangerous opponents.

    Bottom line is Hatton has fought the best and continues to do so. Yes he lost to Mayweather but thats what happens when you take risks.
    Hatton dropped his WBA and IBF belts to get bigger fights. Your telling me JC couldn't do the same thing? Hatton's about to fight the P4P #1 in his prime. JC' last fight was a shadow of a P4P #1 6 years removed.
