Dude, as much as I want to disagree with you and hurl abuse I cant because that is the truth.

He will be again found to fall short once he is put in there with a big dangerous puncher who can do a hard 12 rounds.

I just dont see him lasting with a big puncher if the fight goes past 8 rounds because from round 8 to 12 I was a bit worried for him in there and the shots he did take if it were by a bigger hitter he would of been doing the Judah dance.

what an odd thing to say!

i hope neither agree to the fight.

but with regards to hatton like him or not the guy in his prime was a beast, but it is apparent to me now (though some hatton purists will disagree ) that hatton has been on a slow and steady decline since beating tszyu in 2005,the nay-sayers and haters will disagree but it is a fact..

the guy who maruaded through the likes of phillips, tackie, pep, mitchell, oliveira, maussa etc was clearly a different fighter from the ricky who fought maussa, urango, collazo, castillo, malinaggi etc (albeit he showed glimpses of his old self) for various reasons lifestyle, media pressure, change of trainers etc...

love him or hate him he made the sport interesting again, was prepared to fight the best and always showed humility and class.

Different races to Khan....do you think that Naz would be so well supported today as he was pre 2001?

The Hatton that fought Maussa was a different fighter to the Hatton that fought Maussa? Haha, sorry to point that out, probably just a typo.

I don't see how it's odd, Morales is a man i have the highest respect for and has a dam more massive claim to being past his prime than Ricky Hatton, the man who only lost his championship in his last fight, to a fighter he never would have beaten at any point in his career, in my personal view.

I'm a level headed poster mate, there's no unwarranted bias here. Like i said in my first post, my dislike for Hatton has been known on here for a long time, if you want me to explain i will, but it will take me a while to type it.

Socrates i've really gotta go out, so i know you're going to ask for an explanation, so i'll just so this now for you.

Ricky Hatton 'man of the people', wow, Felix Trinidad and Roberto Duran would be sick to their stomachs if they knew the ins and outs of that one.

As a purist boxing fan, i believe that all fighters, on deserving fights the proper way, by winning, should get their opportunity as uch as the next man. I understand that boxing politics play a part in te outcome of such careers, but i hate that. Ricky Hatton and Junior Witter should have fought at domestic level, donkeys years ago, before either won an established title. Junior Witter repeatedly called out the man he had a right to face off against, Witter the man with no great fanbase that is. Hatton with the massive army of football fans, knew all along he was in the position of power, and ****in taunted him over it.

    Now here's the hypocrisy.

Hatton after beating a past prime, ex best LIGHTWEIGHT of the era in Jose Luis Castillo, 'you've just seen more action in them four rounds than in the whole of Floyd Mayweather's career'. Mayweather enraged, gets the fight made and takes care of business. Now Junior Witter, languishing in the shadows for what seemed like an eternity had done all he could to tempt Hatton into fighting him. What does Hatton reply with, 'he hasn't earned his shot', 'his slagging me off won't do anything'.

But Hatton talking absolute **** about Mayweather is good enough to get him a shot, and as we all know, Hatton should never have shared a ring with Mayweather.

**** me, people still talk about how terrible it was that Charley Burley never won a title due to boxing politics, look t what is happening right here and now.

I'm no Witter fan, i'm no Hatton fan, i'm simply a boxing fan. And what i know is that when you slog your ass off for years in what is the hardest of games, and you earn that number one contender shot the hard way, you should get that shot. Sorry to bang on but i find it absolutely disgusting.

Meanwhile Hatton laughs about the Witter situation, openly.

I hope Khan beheads him and leaves him no excuse this time, no trainer, no ref, just another beating outright.

Haha, thanks mate. I personally don't mind who would have actually won the fight, it's just one of them where you wanted the guy to get his shot.

But yeah the fat **** stole my burger.

    Haha.

i dont think your a hater, but witter is mostly used by hatton haters.....what has junior overrated witter done his carear....jack**** pretty much.....he spent his whole carear hidden at the dormy dome....and never wanted take risk like hatton......witter's carear will be known as the guy that bugged ricky hatton for a fight, to get a simple pay day......and hatton was fighting elemi's to get to tszyu....and then went overseas to make a name for himself......witter and khan once again dont deserve to be in the same arena as a hatton let alone the same ring....

Well wether we think he would have beaten him or not, and i really don't care, he definitely should have fought Hatton at domestic level, many a moon ago. And he was rated number one contender at 140 pounds for Hatton's lineal title for some time also, and if not number one he was inside the top few for some time as well.

Like i said, i don't give a **** about Witter or Hatton, i give a **** about people being blatantly ducked, and to make it into a big joke the way Hatton did, well let's just say i hate him now.

I'm not a hater in the sense of what you see regular in the general forum though, if i think Hatton will win a fight i back him, i'm unbiased as crazy as that sounds after i've just proclaimed my hatred for him! It's a hatred that stands for the good of the sport, i'm like a revolutionary. VIVA WORLD TITLE SHOTS! kidding.

I'll give Khan credit when he fights a dangerous opponent his own size, dont see that happening any time soon though
