    so Michael Jordan= Floyd

    Craig Ehlo= Manny Pac??

I think Floyd beats Pac but he won't be the same. He's gonna be in a WORLD of hurt, so much that the rematch won't take place for another year.

Ali v. Frazier III. Ali wasn't the same after Thrilla.

I understand what the OP is saying and I agree to a certain extent... Everyone complains that Floyd only potshots and doesn't use combos, yet he's winning almost every ****ing round. If he can win using only A, why bring out B, C & D? Easy money only using A, if that's all that's necessary. OP is trying to imply that Pac IS good enough to make Floyd bring out B, C & maybe D, but Floyd IS good enough to bring those out and still win... I think Pac will make Floyd do more than he's used to as well.

I think I saw another poster when I first started posting here try to do a comparison of this and how they play Madden football. If I can beat you using 2 plays, why would I switch them up? You'll ***** and complain I only use two, but you can't stop that ****. When you learn to stop it, I'll bring out two more plays that are better, see if you can beat those. And so forth.. it was something like that, you get the idea.. I hope.. :rasta

    Thank you! :thumbsup

Both fighters has a chance to beat each other. It's about 50-50.

And Pac doesn't have that special inner greatness? If anything, he's proven it more in the ring than Floyd.

But the bottom line is this fight won't happen and it's because Floyd is scared to face him. Too much risk.

You didnt read any part where I said Pac doesn't, did you?

This once again feeds into my point .... Pac has decent boxing skills with exceptional fighting skills. Meaning 70% of his skill level is that of a "fighter" meaning he usually outworkes his opponents with a high volume punchload and aggressive offense. And obviously he is doing something right. But with this implies is that he can "box" to a certain degree but he still is a "fighter first - boxer second" in terms of risking getting caught with flush counter punches in order to hit his opponent, which is a big reason he has so many fans he talks with his fists. He is a fighter by nature (a big reason why he is a councelmen in the Phillipines, fighting for his people!)

Now with Floyd he has decent fighting skills with exceptional boxing skills so he undertands ring generalship like backing up with angles versus in a straight line (and Pac is mediocore in cutting off the ring) and then also he consistently throws his punches at certain times to make sure he is able to pull back into a defensive position. There only two times whe he usually starts letting his hands go on a frequent basis ... 1 -When he is able to land flush counter punhches. (refer to paragrah above) and 2- When he has broken his opponent down and can then open up on them .

Now stay with me here ladies and gents...

Now putting the two comparisons together, Pac will look sloppy a majority of the fight ( a few flurries, nice shots here and there)... but there more thann likely will be a moment where he catches Floyd with a hard punch and if Floyd wobbles, Pac will start letting his hands go. And once again if this happens Floyd more than likely will get hurt or dropped (And I dont mean hurt for 15 seconds like against Mosley and recovered 100% by next round). If this happens he may not fully recover 100%, whcih brings me back to my opening post ..... He will have to show us that can he finish a fight hurt! Fortunately, his greatest mental strength in the squared circle is his ability to remain CALM & ADJUST when action gets intense. So again my point is he will have to stay relaxed at a vulnerabe point of the fight, dig deep down and do what he has been doing his entire life ... box. Pacquiao can stick and move but he will always go back to being a fighter. Once Floyd gains his composure and adjusts, I see Manny coming in reckless going in for the knockout, floyd will slip and counter Manny with some combos and knock him out with a flush counter shot! (maybe not too a tee but I wouldnt be surprised if it happened similiar to this)

Before I go, this isnt no fairy tale s--t or me saying I dreamed this or I have gut feeling ... none of that hollywood talk... It's me observing both fighters strengths and weaknesses, watching previous fights from each fighter through the years on you tube and thinking who uses his brain more.

Great post... I agree with you 100% and for those who say Manny is the mentally stronger of the two? I think the guy who has never lose has the edge in the mental toughness category because he doesn't know how to lose and sure as hell doesn't want to. Otherwise, they seem equal to me as far as the mental edge.

Floyd's already gotten inside manny's head anyway, but like the first post said...the true great will show himself when faced with adversity. Maybe it's Manny, but probably it's Floyd.
