Hatton dosen't have much of a chance in the first place so I cant imagine they'll put up with an overly fussy incompetent like Nady. There's gonna be a huge stink if he does get picked.
That's what makes this fight so great! Either guy could do it. My head says Mayweather- but I honestly think if anyone can beat him it's Hatton- he's just got so much heart!!
One of the worst generalizations you can make. Just because Castillo applied pressure doesn't mean Hatton does it the same way. Castillo at his prime was a much more complete fighter than Ricky. He had a outside boxing game and a jab something that Hatton lacks. He used his jab as a way to get inside and work his magic unlike Hatton who falls in and looks for the clinch and fights off of it. Castillo never fought that way he had a much better inside fighting game as well. PBF will catch Hatton falling in with his accurate shots and counter-punch him when he lunges in all night long. His movement will fustrate Hatton and so will his underrated strenght and toughness. PBF is a stylistic nightmare for Ricky and I just can see why people can't understand it.:-(
Floyd doesnt deal with pressure well but if Hatton lets him dictate the pace or just gets tired during the last half of the fight then its Mayweather possibly by stoppage but its just so finely balanced- if Hatton hurts Mayweather early then its anyones fight. I just hope Hatton cripples Floyd with a bodyshot.
This match up reminds me of the vaunted SRR vs Lamotta that ended Sugar's "Undefeated" record. SRR had to have been the favorite and if they had Message Boards Back then? Aint no way in HELL, that SRR wouldnt have been the HEAVY BOARD FAVORITE going in. God damn RIGHTFULLY TO BOOT!!!! 128-1-2??? You think Floyd could even smell that???:huh The point being, Lamotta was one hell a tough inside banger who could PUNCH and fought like his pride and reputation DEPENDED ON IT:yep Could it happen again?? Wonder how happy Lamotta's outnumbered fans felt afterwardsarty ??????? After multiple rematches they had Biggie Smalls singing/rapping "It was ALL a dream used to read "Word Up" magazine":rofl They can HOLD their heads though, Lamotta fought tough at least a couple times. Most will say :nono The "Proper" statistical math would back it up. Actually?? I'm hoping more for a Duran vs Leonard 1 type determination:hat :bbb Hatton better be training like the SUN's about to SUPERNOVA and game planning properly. There will be NO ROOM FOR EXCUSES:hi: Ricky has earned the right to merit his shot, this is what he does with it:yep
Yes Hatton is bigger and stronger then Casillo and also Mayweather knew what to do the 2nd time around when he was young and not that experienced. Now he is much the wiser and knows what he needs to do. He has much improved since then. I am sticking with Mayweather UD, but this is boxing and Hatton has a chance to win.
Does everyone forget the SECOND Castillo fight? You know, the one where Mayweather DIDN'T break his ****ing hand? C'mon.
Watch Hatton v Kosta then watch Mayweather v Castillo 1 Then watch dancing with the stars and wonder which boxer is more focused. Hatton will be in great shape for this fight; i dont see a stamina problem like against Collazo. Floyd is a truly gifted fighter who has became complacent like RJJ ps like Hatton, Mayweather is not a natural welter and de la hoya was shot when they fought at 154 Cannot wait til december
This thread is like the poster special olympics. lol The same goofballs that say that floyds opposition is a non factor lol...are the same ones that say since Castillo had a close fight against an injured Floyd that Hatton(who in no way is similar to Castillo) will find success with pressure. Floyd fought him with a bad left arm. WOW.
Stamina was not the problem. Hatton fought his same fight....Collazo not being phased by his punches and getting off combinations on Hattons face was the problem....Try again. :rofl:rofl:rofl Stamina...
Floyd is stopping Hatton. NO DOUBTS. Hatton is going to get hit a whole lot...a whole ****ing lot..whatever he does he is going to get punched. Whether he come forward try to get busy try to box..no matter what he is getting punched a whole lot....a whole ****ing lot..
