True Kel.... as for Soliman, he was still fighting topliners in the States prior to being BASHED by Mundine... Sammy is a very, very well credentialed fighter. Timing for the Green fight worked perfectly for Mundine also.... Green was shot before fight night. Mundines mouth has been a joke..same as his management... A wasted talent? For sure. He had the ability to gain higher rewards.. potentially he still has? Larry Holmes said the thing he wanted the most was respect... Jeff harding said he wanted the money, **** the respect. Mundine has the money, he will have battle to ever gain a fair level of respect from most.
Even if Mundine beat Geale and Sturm in 2009 people would still bag him....They would say Geale is untested and Sturm is the weakest MW champ....he needs to beat Pav and AA BE4 HE GETS RESPECT.
Anthony Mundine is either the biggest waste of talent in Australian boxing history; or the most successful bluffer/conman in world sport. either way, not exactly a mantle to be proud of. p.s. He's quite clearly the former (a waste of talent) who is fast turning into the latter.
What a great post spot on, I hope he proves us all wrong in 2009, from the start of it (Taylor) I don't think so, but might warm into something big. After what I expected after the second Sullivan fight only Abraham or Pavlik will suffice.
I don't give a rats arse what you think of Scatter, my post was reguarding what he stated in his post and I felt it was spot on. Obviously I will have to get used to knobs trying to bump up their posts number with pointless jibe rather than commenting on the actual topic.
Compared to previously being used to knobs being inserted down your throat and up your sphincter willy nilly?!
EXACTLY!!! Mundine is a very talented man.... Its just hard to be an artist without the canvas that suits the brush... Pity he is surrounded by **** heads..
We are all cowards who sit behind our keyboards, including you. Just because we are all "cowards" as you say doesn't mean we can't have an opinion on a sport we follow. We'd all like to see you step in the ring with Taylor or Kessler aswell. Can you please explain your definition of "world class" please because the way i see it Mundine is extremely talented but lacking in the "very good wins" category. Imo he has 1 very good win (Danny Green). If he had 3 or 4 of these "very good wins" then i would also call him world class or elite class but his resume of wins doesn't warrant such praise. As i said, Anthony appears to be an extremely talented boxer but has yet to really prove this to the boxing world.
I wouldn't say we are "Cowards" because we don't box, also I wouldn't call anthony a coward in the sense he would probably protect a woman from a mugging or something, just a coward for not facing real challenges.
