just think it is. And i think you are a **** for not respecting a fighter until he loses gallantly. Respect for a man who goes between the ropes should be a given and not earned.

To be fair his title says more respect. His initial reactions to the loss were better than some of his fellow boxers, Kessler and Abraham, recently and that's something to be respected in defeat and I think it's a quality everyone admired about JT.

    Sergio won. End of.

But needing 30 stitches, having an ineffective cutman and a **** ton of blood in there didnt help him any.

When I rate Ali as the all-time greatest heavyweight, it's not because I think he would win every head to head match-up, it's how he dealt with adversity and came back from losses. Same with Lennox, people can bag him all they want but he isn't a ***** like Wlad, when he lost he said **** that, I know I am better than that guy and I am gonna prove it.

That being said, Pavlik is not even 1/8 of those guys so....... Props to him for taking his beating like a man but, he will never be great. Never.

Agree.........he's lucky to be where he is. If anything needed improvment it would be the promoter who picks his opponents. All the announcers of this last fight said he picked probably the worst guy possible, and it showed.

Oh please, save that sanctimonious bull**** for someone else.

I have respect for all fighters, regardless of how much **** I talk about them. In Pavlik's case, I have always thought he was a good dude, who was tough as nails. And right now, I think after having basically "lost it all" with one swift ass-whippin, he took it a lot better than a lot of people. And that, to me, is what defines a person's character.

And as the title said, I have gained more respect for him.

    Yes. He did.

But be fair. That was a nasty ****ing cut. And at the time of the cut, he was either tied or ahead by one on most scoredcards. Who knows what would have happened had he either not been cut, or had even a D+ level cut man.

Do I think he would have won the fight if not for the cut? Nope. I think he still would have lost, but he would have had a much better chance with his vision fully intact.

Shows the knuckle head fans boxing has. We then calls them warriors after having their brains mashed.
