    OK.

    On to this fight.

This another fight where a lot of people have mostly seemed to agree that Abraham will be the winner. I on the contrary have a totally different opinion on this fight. Everyone knows how long it takes for AA to start going, He pretty much tosses the first 3-4 rounds down the drain to study his opponent. This will work heavily in Dirrell's favor, Dirrell's lack of experience is totally evident when watching him fight and more specifically in his most recent fight. This will play into Dirrell's favor because he will be able to gain confidence early into the fight and gain belief in himself. In the Froch fight Dirrell was constantly being pressured which had him use a lot of nervous energy in early rounds and he never truly built his confidence, against AA I believe he will have a chance to gain confidence.

What I just mentioned about Dirrells last fight is another factor that I believe will play into Dirrells favor, the fact that AA is not a "heavy" pressure fighter. Froch CONSTANTLY put pressure on Dirrell throughout the entire fight which never really allowed to fight comfortably and use his athletic abilities in his favor. I think the fact that AA does not pressure at as constant a rate as froch will allow Dirrell to use more of the ring and use more of his athletic abilities to confuse AA. Assuming the fight will be fought inside of a larger sized ring since its on dirrells home turf, I feel like Dirrell should be able to outbox abraham in a tough yet comfortable fight.

If Dirrell can some how find a way to neutralize AA's right hand I think he will be able to outbox AA. My main concern as it always is for Dirrell is his lack of experience, AA is deceivingly fast and strong enough to where if Dirrell gets careless at any point in the fight, AA WILL BE ABLE to put dirrell out with one punch.

I would not be surprised if Dirrell came out of this fight with a lot of fans and people saying he is a new p4p force to be reckoned with.

You think Dirrel was a disgrace against Froch wait till you see him against Abraham.

AA has to knock him out to win cause theres no way hes going to win a decision in Detroit.

If it were a foot race, I would pick Dirrell.

Dirrell's only chance to win is to fight or he will let yet another belt slip through his gloves. Too bad he has to do it against the Gremlin Smurf whom is a very tough customer. Dirrell winning is a doable thing but will he beat him or will he just run like the wind and try to get by on his hopes and prayers that he is fighting here in the states and that he might just benefit from a hometown brewing.

You use the word BEAT and I doubt this will be a beating that Dirrell will dish out. It will be a win maybe but not a BEATING. Do not confuse the two. :bart

the martix can outbox the king, old fashion slick blackness.he just better keep it in the middle of the ring, if he fights likw he did in the froch fight he can get koed with a one hitter quitter.im going with the matrix to hand the king his 1st defeat, but i can see king stoping him with a few punches after being outclasses the whole night.im till picking te matrix.

I definitely think Dirrell is being under-rated now and has a good chance to win this fight.

Honestly Dirrell spaz and if he doesn't sort that out he's not going to beat a dangerous tough as nails fighter like AA.

I will not be completely suprised if Dirrell wins...I will be shocked if anyone would ever think this at any point. And I don't think there is anything he could do that would make me think that...

I'm going with the Matrix as well. Simply box and move - stick to the script.

I think Abraham wins this fight mainly because of his experience and mental toughness, but I don't rule Dirrell out because he's a really good and fast boxer.

Dirrell has handspeed and footspeed at his advantage. He also possesses a good jab.
Abraham has power, defence, ring generalship, chin. Abraham is also notably a slow starter, taking time to study his opponent.

Dirrell must absolutely win the first 3-4 rounds, never let Abraham set his shots up, keep his fast jab in his face, going in and out fast and work the body consistently. By this way, If he hits Abraham hard and often enough it will bring his defence down, tire him and allow Dirrell to hit his head. Dirrell must be intelligent, really active (but not waste his shots!), use his footwork in the ring and speed. But is is a hard task.

He must pierce Abraham's defence which is really hard to do. Taylor did not really succeed when almost everybody took for granted that Taylor would outbox Abraham and Abraham's only chance would be by KO. And attacking Abraham often the body seems like a good plan, but you must be fast because Abraham counters fast (he is faster than given credit for) and really hard, one shot could finish it all.

Abraham must like always keep his defense tight, not allow Dirrell to gain confidence, use his strong jab to time and break Dirrell's speed and not allow him to set up his body attack, counter hard on him (make Dirrell pay for everyshot he gives him), apply intelligent pressure and just discourage Dirrell by blocking his shots and allow him to tire late. If the knockout doesn't come, it's because in the last rounds all Dirrell will do after having tasted Abraham's power is run.

    Abraham by KO :yep:smoke

This is EXACTLY AA's tactic and he uses it to KTFO his opponents. It is his form of rope-a-dope. Dirrell best stay wary if he wants to win. :yep

I think Abraham will come with two different gameplans.

First would be to win via rounds, when he starts to step on the gas earlier than expected, and gives only 1 or 2 rounds away to learn what Dirrell does. If he gives Dirrell the first 4 rounds, Dirrell needs only 2 more, and the judges will hand him the last round if he is still standing to gift him the win. Abraham would need 8 big rounds to win that fight on points, probably some KDs, and he probably knows.

The second would be to go for the KO only. I won't give away how he would do that. ;)
