Hollioake would beat him. He's a hard man.

Any thoughts on a hardest P4P cricketer top 10?

Is Matthew Hayden still playing? The way the commentators used to speak about him suggested he could handle himself, same with Ricky Ponting.

I went to school with Flintoff and never heard of him boxing, the nearest clubs are deepdale and larches and he never went to either.

Flintoff is somebody who has abused his body.

    He's no athlete.

    Andrew Symonds vs Chris Gayle

    Both are beasts.

    Ponting is nails.

Easily the hardest cricketer of this generation.

Hayden... by all accounts he's a really nice guy, undoubtedly hard though.

I've been watching Australian cricket for 20 years, and back when those guys were coming through you had to be hard to play in pub cricket. Compared to those pussies that they've got playing for them now... worlds apart.

Nasser Hussain would be right up there. He wanted England to take the Aussies on, head on.... which was brave considering the gulf in class between the two teams.

Well prepared, non-pissed Symmo by stoppage.

Lots of tough Aussies, David Boon & Merv Hughes spring to mind.

Robin Smith was a hard ******* back in the day, great chin

In the current England team I reckon Matt Prior is the toughest

Brian Close.... apparently he once called Henry Cooper a ***** and said 'there's no way that Muhammad Ali would stop me'. He probably wouldn't either. Botham was scared to death of him, still is to this day.

cant believe that people think flintoff would last a minute against dallas. you lot always show you have never boxed when you say **** like that. the gulf in class between a novice of 6 months, a good amatuer and a top amateur is huge!!!

I've heard a story about Close, he was fielding close to the bat without a helmet & got struck on the head. As the ball bounced up in the air he called out "Catch it" to his teammates

Apparently he was completely unflinching & one of the most intense characters you could meet.

If he can get his Opponent at Silly Mid Off, he has a chance.
