That's way too low for Hopkins, though. How many others on that list dominated the division for a decade?

I'd probably have Golovkin ahead of the likes Zale, Burley and Fullmer, I think. And did Griffith really do that much at MW? Benevenuti?

Like I said I didn't make up this ranking. Just thought it would be good to list the guys against whom we are measuring GGG.

    Bokaj, or Dino,

Last time, can you list Hopkins best five wins at 160 pounds?

Stop speaking for me. I never said Murray was 100% clean. He did floor Martinez...twice. I have not scored this one, but with two 10-8 rounds, and the fight being in Martinez's country, you wonder.

I said Hopkins was dirty, fouling, faking low blows, and perhaps injuries. Golovkin is a clean fighter.

    P4P Rated Tito
    P4P Rated Hoya
    Glen Johnson
    Keith Holmes
    Willy Joppy
    Antum Echols

Hopkins dominated all of them and was the only man to ever stop Tito. I don't see Hopkins scraping past a guy like Danny Jacobs. Hopkins likely puts a drubbing on him.

I've already done it. Just have a look.

But, hey, I can do it again.

Joppy, Holmes and Tito the top 3 in no particular order.

After that probably Eastman and Allen, but DLH could sneak in depending on what one thinks of the decision against Sturm (haven't watched the fight since it took place, I think). Echols is also a candidate, I suppose.

Mendoza is going to concentrate on how Johnson was "green" and hadn't beaten anyone of note at that time, but I just love that performance.

Joppy and Holmes stayed around the top for 5+ years, and Echols, Eastman and Allen were also around the top 5, top 10 for several years.

Tito and DLH got their shots from single wins, but Tito KO'd Joppy and DLH squeezed by a Sturm that was about 10 years younger than the Sturm Geale squeezed by as his only notable win.

NC is was though allen fouled him, so hopkins should have it by default regardless.

of course he will if he wants to beat hopkins, and he will. You should support him if you are a real fan, and believe he will do it.

    Tito = Blown up welter

De lay Hoya = Blown up light weight!

Johnson - Lost SIX of his next TEN after losing to Hopkins. Early record is full of easy marks. Tell me Johnson's best win at middle weight. I predict you will not even bother replying to this question, as he has NONE.

Holmes - Okay, but he's not that good. Hopkins low blowed him..

Joppy - Okay, the he's not that good.

Echols? Who did be beat at middle weight??? Bad choice, and he was KO'd 15 times.

This isn't an impressive resume at 160 pounds. Nothing more than Solid.

I'd like to see more people vote. To place ANY Active fighter in the top 15 for a division with a lot of history in it is rare, yet GGG according to those who voted does belong in the top 15.
