See page 21, no one in the media, which is over 30 cards felt Canelo won. Boxing needs it own BS files for the next generation, so they really know what happens. If 2/3 of the media says you won, the punch stats say you won, and you had the other guy hurt....YOU WON and were robbed by the judges.

Heck to make it easy to follow, I'll repost the media cards:

GGG won the fight. Look at the media cards! The best Canelo did was ESPN Mexico, who called it a draw!

The media is biased towards Golovkin and the media is known for pushing fake news. Lots of draws there as well that indicate the truth - it was a close fight.

Canelo fought Golovkin's fight last night and won by a narrow margin. At times he looked spectacular whereas as GGG looked sickly and unhealthy from all the clean head shots and body shots he was taking.

Canelo produced an incredible performance as the smaller man and was the deserving victor.

No, and take note the Latio media people did not think Canelo won. Now I know what the No decision era must have felt like...actually that would have been better than the official decision.

    I didn't. Golovkin retreated for a reason.

Canelo retreated during the first fight too , but unlike GGG , he was prepared to trade while his back was against the ropes. GGG wouldn't oblige him..
If GGG put is back to the rope , Canelo would go hamhock on him.

GGG asked for Mexican. When it was given to him he wanted no part of it.

Where are you getting these from? I ask because there were some ringsiders that scored for Alvarez and they seem to be unreflected here.

They include Roy Jones, Robert Garcia and Andrew Ward.

Also, I have never in my life seen so many drawn cards. There are twenty-one drawn cards there! 21 drawn, 30 something for one guy and zero for the other has to be the strangest spread of media cards i've ever seen.

Also, it should be stated that there is a difference between ringside cards and media cards.

    Anyway, all very strange.

However you scored the fight, it was a very impressive performance by a 36-year old. I think GGG showed a versatility in his skill set that I din't think he had. But at the end of the day we're in the same spot as before: GGG hasn't proved to be superior to the best he's faced.

Age could be a factor in this. We'll never know for sure how big. But Floyd was about the same age when he schooled Canelo. A somewhat greener Canelo, yes, but still.

Golovkin's best clear wins are over guys like Lemieux and Geale. That's still where it's at. And Cotto and Saunders showed the level of their quality.

My answer remains the same: Yes, top 15, perhaps top 10.

Think the fans got a great fight last night. I don’t see why GGG fans are calling bs on the decision it was the right one. Canelo landed the better shots most of the night. Despite being in a little bit of trouble one round. That and Canelos last round showed he wanted it just a little bit more and rallied strong.

His feelings are hurt. I question if some of the media were swayed by the controversy of the first fight, Clengate and Harold's score. Here are some more for Canelo:

Haye and Khan apparently also had it for Canelo.

I thought Canelo edged it especially by winning round 12. The robbery claims are blown way out of proportion since a draw seems to be the most common score. I was impressed with how Canelo was able to press forward.

I didn't write my score down and actually lost count a bit towards the end. But the last round probably makes the difference in my scoring, just as it did for the judges, since I don't think I had anyone of them two rounds ahead or more going into it. And the last round was really close as well, Canelo probably just edging it for me.

I also can't take claims of a robbery seriously. Both fights were very, very close to me and no one really got the better of them in total imo.

The robbery claim is idiotic. It was a close, hard to score fight. I thought GGG won but again the cards were all within one or two points of mine. Big deal. Excellent fight.

He looks like a top 15 to me. I think he's better than Hopkins
neither do I think his division was the weakest. They say that during every decade.

    Can the critics prove it?

    no
