I disagree with 'doesn't come close'. I think Haye is a cut above everyone else, then I think there are the likes of Enzo, Cunningham and co and then 'the rest'. Their opponents aren't worlds apart in my opinion. Gurov has fought mainly lower class opposition and lost convincingly whenever he stepped up to world class (granted, he's stepped up but was heavily outclassed all the same). Fragomeni was undefeated but again, totally untested. Same goes for Bonin. They might have rated higher but none of them really rose through the ranks fighting contenders.

I'm not trying to defend Enzo's record, I'm just saying I believe given that he's now fighting the top man, there's little to complain about. If Enzo loses and still harps on about how he has 'power in both hands', then I can accept that people will slate him.

Agreed. I wouldn't say I've always been disappointed with Haye, rather there are always weaknesses, which makes for an exciting fight. Really looking forward to this.

I cant wait for this fight!

To me this fight is to close to call, both are big punchers and the defense is weak. People talk about Enzo being chinny and blown away but he hasnt been put down or looked in serious trouble since Bruce Scott! Whilst Haye was down against Mock, Thompson and obviously Mormeck.

Also what i think people are overlooking is the speed of Enzo's punching when in combination.

I cant wait and i think Enzo is going to surprise alot of people.

I think Haye has only puncher chance. Macca is far better boxer now, he will work behind the jab and will punish David for each mistake, IMHO.

he's imporoved a lot since that fight. if this fight was happening two years ago, i would say haye but enzo really has come on.

haye isn't as special as some are saying on this board. his defence is very leaky and his hand speed isn't that great

i say its a 50-50 fight. both can bang. both can box. i would say that haye has shown better movement and punch placement than enzo but his defence is rather leaky. enzo has shown very good boxing skills but his movement isnt as fluid as haye. he also sometimes telepgraphs punches

i still havent made my mind up yet on who will win. i just think that it is a lot closer than some people are saying it is. i would want better odds if i was to bet on david haye

If Hayes defence is leaky, then Enzos is flooded. My point is that Haye is better than Enzo defensivley as at least he can box on the back foot due to his foot speed and ryhtum, and can counter due to his Hand Speed.

I think David Haye will win. But there's no way on God's green Earth I'm going to put serious money on it.

From what I've seen, Haye is the better boxer, but Macca isn't crap and has more than just a puncher's chance.
