Fans used that same idiotic logic to explain why Oscar was gong to KO Floyd with his left hook because Baldomir happened to land a few flush left hooks on Floyd himself.

Where do you simpletons get your knowledge on boxing technique?

If a strategy has failed, twice to secure a victory, it's not a very good strategy. If that strategy is, in addition, based on faulty premises it is doubly useless. What you have is a failed strategy based on faulty premises. Not a recipe for sucess.

NOPE. Have you ever seen how Mayweather reacts to getting hurt or hit with a big shot??

The less Mosley can do the better for him. The more he can do the worse for him. And the same would have applied to Pacquiao. Floyd Mayweather has a 6th and 7th gear, and if you force him to pull them out you'll be sorry. Give Mayweather a good fight, get an ass whipping. We'll see about old Shane, though. He's a powerful man in his own right.

Good observation Corley's fight was long time ago the present Floyd looks much bigger and has filled the body real well people talk about Mosley power he is not a one punch fighter the overhand right comes in a loop no way he is going to hit Floyd with this televised punch.

Even though I'm taking Mayweather, this was a good post. I do want to point out though that even though Oscar could not stop Forbes (who has never been stopped even at higher weights) and could not hurt Pacquaio ( which is understandable since Oscar was a dead man walking in the ring) Oscar has power and was healthy when he fought Mayweather, plus Floyd was past his weight division and fighting someone who was a filled out and proven 154 pounder. Oscar landed his left hook a few times off of Floyd's chin and landed several flush right hands ( thus the reason why Mayweather face was swollen after the fight). Floyd also took hard shots from Zab and Castillo.

He has some chance, not a lot but he is still in the top 3 at 147. Nazeem will come up with a gameplan but that can only do so much.

Its funny that all the people talking trash on Floyd first said floyd would never face mosley in a million years but now that he is mosley has become an old man with zero chance of winning and a cherry picked fight. Its all bull****. I wish there werent so many blind ******s on this site.

I haven't read anyone saying it's a cherrypicked fight. There is a clear three top fighters in the world right now: Pac, Floyd and Mosley. Mosley obviously isn't at his peak anymore, but he is still one of the top three fighters in the world, and any one of them facing any other one of them is above criticism, they are the world's best.

I think it's questionable, but Ring does have him at #3 P4P.

Mosley will be Floyd biggest challenge, Floyd is going to meet a fighter who will make him pay if he is not 100% on fight night. I want to think Floyd will win but something tells me Mosley is hungry for this fight and the Mosley we will see will be Lethal. So yes he got as much as an equal chance of winning as Floyd.

Floyd is going to find he is going to be in a hell of a fight, and will have to bring vintage Floyd to win here. Mosley is not afraid and believe he is better so he is going to go for Floyd really hard. I think Floyd best chance is to ensure the fight is fought as a hard pace to hopefully remove the legs from Mosley. If Floyd wins this then he is indeed the best of this generation. I dont care if he wins by getting on his bicycle and fighting on his backfoot, I dont care for this warrior mentaliy fans try to pouts as the 2nd coming of Christ, a win is a win and one over Mosley is something very special.

I think Shane will land maybe one or two on Floyd but they won't be full blooded powerful shot's. Anything powerful coming Mayweather's way won't land 100% flush

People are underestimating Floyd. He isn't as feather fisted as some would like to believe. On May 1st I believe we will see the best "Money" Mayweather to date.
