I've never seen this many Fake and New accounts on this forum in all the years i've been using it and they're nearly all trying to tell us that this PPV is "Value for Money" and a "Must Buy". Hearn must be getting everyone in his office to come on and try and justify it to the fans! When somethings good, you don't need to justify it as it sells itself.
I'm not sure you are going to be cut out for a career in the promotion and entertainment industry, Terminator But on topic.... why do you feel it is more likely that Eddie Hearn has asked his office to spam one boxing website British forum, than that a few people feel that a small outlay of 17 quid is worth it for a whole night of boxing? It just seems a weird assumption so I'm interested.
Two guys, both brutally hammered into a stupor at world level within the previous 18 months, now fighting at a weight where neither is rated in the world top ten can never be a justified pay-per-view, no matter how much they pretend to hate each other. Mismatch after mismatch featuring recognisable names as an undercard doesn't swing it either. Pay-per-view has it's place, and that is to bring the absolute elite of the sport together where otherwise it wouldn't be possible. November 22nd is an absolute parody of that idea. It's a cash grab, no more no less.
The only reason i like PPV is because boxers need that end goal of been a PPV star to aim for through there careers. Neither Bellew or Clev deserve that career goal
Are you Eddie Hearn, or a relative of Eddie Hearns, or an employee of Eddie Hearn? You can't trust anyone on this thread. :nono
I agree that the hate is not genuine, but I don't think the casuals are bothered one way or the other. Its just a great match up. I don't think the weight gives Bellew any particular advantage, thought he shaded it last time but can't pick a winner for the 22nd. A real 50 50 fight for me. A packed and decent undercard with 2 shameful mismatches,Joshua and Groves.
To anyone moaning about the PPV, you are right it does not have a special main event between to great fighters, but it more than makes up for it with the excitement of the main event, how close the fight it is as the bookies have it 10/11 for either fighter from what I have seen. the depth of the bill is very good and there are 8 potentially 9 fighters that are well known by any British boxing fan and they are fighters that could headline a bill in their own right, and I believe the only one who hasn't is Smith. some good 50/50 fights and some very entertaining fights and some good showcase bouts too. £2 a fight is very good value and you would see a lot less on an American PPV event but you would have one big fight. the thing is though that one big fight could be an absolute stinker of a bout but you can guarantee that this fight is going to be extremely entertaining
