Why in the hell do people knock this Mexican

I don't think people knock Margo, they knock his fans who get very annoyed whenver his one dimensional style is brought up.

Basically, it's the nithuggers no one likes. I like Toni, he has a crowd-pleasing style and is tough as Hell, but no doubt he will struggle against a pure boxer with decent stamina.

Also, the whole Paul Williams thing....P-Dub has his number, the nuthuggers should face it. As does Santos I think, so stop making excuses!

 

I wasnt a big follower of Marg until the Cotto fight but after that he earned my respect. I think alot of people see him as a not particulalrly fashionable boxer because of the way he fights. I dont mind seeing a war though so it doesnt bother me!

There you go. He's beat every fighter he's faced in the last 12 years but Paul Williams. I guess all those top fighters he's beat all have stamina issues. Tell me, what current fighter at WW can beat Margarito.

First of all, the PW fight was extremely close. Williams was starting to get rocked. So I don't understand when you say he has Margarito's number.

Secondly, you must be either lying or have never seen the Santos fight is you can sit there and say Santos has his number. They fought in Bayamon PR, Santos' hometown, Margarito won 6 rounds to 3, KD Santos in the 4th and wasn'truled, almost KO Santos in the 5th.

Margo nut-huggers can't get over Paul Williams beating they're boy and admit he was the better man. Always excuses. That "he started too slow" thing is getting really old. Margarito fights exactly the same way every time. Nothing is going to change.

First of all that is not Excuses, that is only ONE thing.

Secondly, everyone does that. Had Pacquiao worn different socks, Had Cotto been better conditioned, had PW not overlooked Quintana, had Mayweather not injured his ribs against Castillo, had Margarito started sooner like he did with Golden Johnson.

For a guy promoted by Bob Arum as a gladiator who would fight for pennies when pride is on the line to not avenge a loss and accept HALF the amount to fight someone beyond shot must be surprising, right?

 

His first 3 losses was when he was 3 years old, sure we'll accept that, even though Rodney Jones was active all the way to 2007, but we'll ignore it, he only beat a 3 year old Margarito anyway and shouldn't count because he's from Mexico.

His loss to Santos was a hometown robbery, therefore Margarito doesn't need to prove that it was a hometown robbery and can safely move on to a gladiator-like legacy, we're talking Hagler here. His loss to Williams was a fluke against a mandatory he shouldn't have fought, why rematch?, the Mexicans know who the true gladiator who will fight for FREE when it comes to pride so what's the point of proving it when there are ******s cheering even if it was for **** as long as it's from the same hometown.
