:tired I swear I cannot see what anyone sees in Hopkins. He has to be the most hyped boring fighter in history. Calzaghe would box circles around him and the fight would still be BORING!!!

i think Joe would get a narrow decision in a tactical snoozefest.

It would only be exceptional for the financial returns.

It wouldn't be acceptable from my point of view, and it won't happen so I'm not worried. I fully realise where Joe is coming from in wanting this fight, all you have to do is look at the skewed opinions of boxing fans to see that they still regard Hopkins' Trinidad win over Calzaghe's MK win.

I'd even prefer Pavlik, as he starched Taylor, where Hopkins went terribly close twice with that joke Taylor.

But realistically, Woods or Dawson or Woods+Dawson(let's make it a pair) would be the best and the most easy to make IMO.

Calzaghe would outclass Hopkins. Hell, Hopkins couldn´t even defeat Taylor. What are some of you guys smoking?

we can measure how GOOD JOE C is because we know the list of guys BHOP has competed against, he is a known commodity. The degrees of seperation between who he has fought and Joe C give us a better gage of just how good Joe C really is. I want to see BHOP WHO IS TRICKY AND CAGEY as well, his workrate is the only problem though. Yes, I want to see BHOP vs JOE C why the **** not!!!

Anyone that payed 50.00 $ to watch Hopkins vs Wright on PPV, probably never wants to ever see him fight again, and for the good of the sport. God that was ****ing terrible, I couldnt even sit threw the fight, while on the next week for free on HBO.

Calzaghe would badly outwork and outpoint Hopkins.

Anyone who doesn't understand that Calzaghe vs Hopkins is the crowning of one of these fighters careers or the cherry on top of the cake should not feel at ease to question what both feel is their natural next ( and possibly last) fight. Calzaghe goes down in history as the most successful briton who never fought in America and Bernard as one of the most successful yank of late who never fought in Europe.

i wouldn't be interested in calzaghe v hopkins. americans seem obsessed with over the hill fighters like hopkins, mosley and oscar.

if calzaghe has 1 fight left in him i would like to see him take out another undefeated fighter out who is in his prime like he has to lacy and kessler.

the name PAVLIK springs to mind - lets have a proper fight for his finale.

A Calzaghe v Bore-nard wouldn't excite me as the result is a foregone conclusion. At least Pavilk would present Calzgaghe with some problems to solve

I want to see it because both of them are great fighters looking to put the icing on the cake with one final big win. It's this generations Leonard/Hagler.

Its funny now everyone on here thinks that Joe would box circles around Hopkins.Nobody boxes circles around him fighters cannot even hit him with a good shot. (Tarver,Tito,Winky) could not do it what makes you think Joe can? This was Joe first real big win and I was impressed with it but I think it is time for people to look at things. Bika gave Joe all kinds of problems but you think he would destroy Hopkins wake up people.

He wouldn't destroy Hopkins, but he would beat him decisively

Name me another so called BIG name fighter that is more boring to watch than Bornard.

The man is a defensive genius and a business opportunist but he is not a great offensive boxer.

Calzaghe would throw and land more punches than Bornard has seen in his entire career.

Taylor beat him TWICE and Winky got robbed.
