Bull****! Vargas was fake as **** you knew it was an act. What made it worse is he tried to come off as a tough guy claiming he was a real Mexican and then would go out and get KTFO and never win big fights. At least PBF backs his talk up and dishes out boxing lessons and hasn't lost.
Guys like Vargas and Miranda are jokes IMO tough talk but can't back it up in the ring the very definition of fake.:deal

 

My enjoyment of boxing doesn't revolve around some idiot hurling needless abuse at people.

 

At least Vargas and Miranda take on the best guys from their own division though. If Floyd signed fights with Cotto and Margarito, and mouthed off at them, I'd be cool with that. Instead, it just seems, he wants to make outlandish claims without backing them up. He claimed to be the GOAT, his own words, so I judge him by that. Why not fight Pavlik?

 

It's extra entertainment man. The guy has made some classic comments on his 24/7 episodes that drive haters like you nuts. The reason why you don't like him is that he throws his money around, talks **** about boxers you like beats them and you've never seen anyone humble him in the ring. Nah, as much as I love boxing all sport is a mere frivolity, a destraction. I don't hate him and he certainly hasn't beaten any of my heroes. I've only had two heroes of recent times and they're Lennox Lewis and Bernard Hopkins. When he makes his crass remarks I just see him as ignorant.

 

Vargas and that bum Miranda are nothng but bullies who feed off talking **** but when faced with real adversity they fold like a bad hand and it's been proven time and time again. These guys don't have a 10th of the skills of PBF and would kill to have his career. Vargas was an overrated cheating punching bag and Miranda is nothing but a crude puncher in need of a haircut.:yep BTW what do you mean took on the best PBF did the same thing Vargas did he was thrown in with the lions at an early age the difference is his class he passed the test and Vargas failed and miserably.

 

A siege mentality, I can understand how that works for people, but it's only useful when it serves a purpose. It serves no purpose other than to garner him attention for non sporting reasons at the moment. If he's prepared to fight the best then great, let the man put on his show, but at the moment the whole thing is ringing a little hollow. We've seen world class performances from Cotto, Shane and Pac this year. What's Floyd done?

There you have it. It's like when I was in high school and played football I loved playing a rival on the road more than home. I loved the boos of the crowd it made me want to play harder and rub it in their face.

 

PBF's career up to including 135, top class. Since then it's been smoke and mirrors with a whole lot of talking. The kind of thing that does no good for boxing. Casual fans can't understand why someone, who claims to be the GOAT, refuses to fight Cotto and Margarito. They also struggle to understand why an apparent thug has quite a boring style. The second point is less important to me as I can appreicate the fine art (Hopkins is my favourite fighter) but it doesn't help.
