Why Iron Mike lost to Buster Douglas

    Buster was not intimated by Tyson. His Mother died shortly before the fight. Nothing Tyson could have hurt him with more then the death of his mother. Yes Tyson was not his best while Buster had his best performance but the death of his mother had a huge impact on that fight.

    Tyson was a wrong-un plain and simple, you guys really believe a demented Cus would have kept the massively famous Tyson in his tracks?

    How about stop fantasizing and step back in to reality for a second.

    He lost to Buster because he trained and prepared like **** and
    didn't take Buster seriously, he was looking towards Evander.
    That combined with the fact that stylistically, Buster was a tall
    guy with an excellent jab, one two, and good footwork, and he was
    intelligent enough to keep Tyson at range and tie him up in close
    was Tyson's Waterloo......

    A properly trained Tyson would've had a bit of trouble with the height
    and length early but have ground him down mid fight (ala T. Biggs.)
