    when it wasn't before?

What has changed? Now it won't "drain" him, but before it would? Now he isn't afraid on needles?

Why couldn't he agree to terms before, but now, he can agree to the same terms?

Something seems fishy, and it isn't Pac's diet.

Because Mayweather is in a position to call the shots now.

    As De La Hoya said.

Maybe people were right and Pac/Mayweather wanted one more fight each before fighting?

Mayweather is firmly in the driving seat now - Catfish has lost his bargaining ability having fought a statue in his last outing.

He was never afraid of needles, and honestly the 24 day thing (initially 30 days) was imo a ruse set up by Arum to postpone the fight..

Roach said about a week is ok (yes I know roach is a bad source) but also Manny has consistently said "just not near the fight date" which is pretty ambiguous.

It seems odd to me that he would do a straight U-turn. I am just happy the fight can be made now I just hope takes it!

Pretty much Mayweather has the upper hand, and has stated, either testing or NO FIGHT. So it's pretty much up to Pacquiao whether this fight gets made or not.

Also, we've seen that testing is no big deal, after the Money/Sugar camps in 24/7.

Also all the good fighters left for both Money and Manny to fight are more favorable for Mayweather, he can go up to 154 and fight the likes of Williams and Martinez... I just don't see Manny risking that type of fight. Those guys are too big AND too live.

Everyone Pac's faced so far was either his size, immobile, or a corpse.

I could see Pac getting it on with Berto, and it could do decent numbers. I mean, anybody from lightwelter would love to get a shot at Manny just for the paycheck alone, but I just don't think those fights would do well.

Martinez and Williams are the only megafights left for Mayweather and Pac, unless they face each other. Otherwise, it's like why buy a fight that you know who's gonna win? Pretty much anybody from welterweight on down is an automatic W for both of them.

Because he is compromising to make this fight happen.

    He hasnt.

Koncz is denying the story over at the scene.

But I think Pac asking for anything more than 14 days cut-off will look bad on his part.

he knows people don't get it, drug test and make $30 MILLION AND YOU SAY NO, because you don't like needles. In most people eyes alarm bells start going, you just can't defend this position to Joe blow public. They just see something to hide.

i think pac's realised that once the floyd-mosley sales come out that he's not really the number one PPV draw, floyd is, and by abit aswell, which is a problem when it comes to negotiation for pacquiao. i wouldn't be surprised if mayweather wants 60-40 aswell now once the sales come out.
