I initially thought this was an easy fight for Abraham. Now I see it 50/50.

Dirrell, was hurt very bad in the 10th from a legal punch. It was only a matter of time and then AA pulled that cheap shot. AA wins a rematch with Dirrell, easily.

If he loses to Froch, ok, hes overrated, but it should be KO for AA.

Tell that to the Heavyweights. For the last two decades, its where all the biggest junk comes from.

Nope. Watch it again. AA was getting wilder and more desperate but not any more effective.

:patsch This is the first time I've heard about this. And that is after watching the fight a couple of times. Care to post the clip? Talk about revisionist.

He knocked him down in the 10th, and had him hurt bad. What are you talking about?

He doesn't really ever get hit low either. It's always to the body. Actor!

First, I was talking about the round he fouled, not the tenth. Dirrell was not "hurt bad" in the tenth. I just watched it again to make sure. Sorry. Perhaps a legit KD, but he wasn't "hurt bad" in spite of what the announcers were trying to say.

    He'd spark Pavlik, for sure.

He is going to knock Froch out too I am afraid.

Direll's performance in the AA fight beats ANYONE from MW TO LHW, yes I said it, that includes Ward and Dawson. He fought perfectly as any boxer can. Used the ring, footwork, body punching, used his power, amazing counte rpunching etc. Now as far as AA is concerned, he WAS coming on late like he USUALLy does in majority of his fights, nothing unusual and us fans were robbed of a pretty exciting ending. Am I saying he would of put Direll to sleep? No. Do I think he had a decent chance in pulling the KO? Yes.
As far as the fouling, I have seen MUCH worse and so have a lot of other posters on ESB(i think there was a thread about punching after the bell) without being disqualified. Poor judgement on AA's part, NO EXCUSES, he deserved the result.
I think he comes out of the situation a more determined boxer.

He had a thin resume at 160 but his style is a tough nut to crack hard hitting and great D....not a ez combination to tackle......he was gaining on Dirrel jsut got over anxious stupid angry what ever u wanna call it
