It's just to big of an ask for him. And for the reasons you stated, I even picked May to beat him as well in that thread and got some heat for it, lol . Adv. Pryor on work rate and angles, but May just to damn great with timing and counters with Pryor leaving himself open like that, imo

Who did he ever beat? Old Cervantes? Old Arguello at his fourth weight class?
Chavez beats him. Chavez may be overrated by some but he was proven. Pryor? Nahhhhhh

Yeah he might be as proven, but neither is Wlad Klitschko but I'd still favour him over Joe Frazier and Jack Johnson. If it's clear how skilled a fighter is and he did prove it at world level then it doesn't matter who has a better résumé in a fantasy fight

Well. Just back from playing with myself. Hey Rich. Tell these folks yr other fairy tale about your ultra successful amateur career. This thread proves yrs lies and motive and anytime you start yr lying I will knock you out like Pryor did to the bum Crowley in 24 seconds. I can just picture you 3 losers sitting around the house in yr 50s bitching continually about how unfair life was. Poor poor pitiful me! Bawahhhhhhhh!

This has always been it for me too. A violent technician like Duran would tear him apart.

To me he is similar to Wilfredo Gomez and Julian Jackson. Not in style but in the way they were each great at their division. The problem is when people start thinking their are just as good moving up a division or 2.

I'm not a Pryor fanatic or anything but don't you think he had all the attributes to beat Mayweather ?? Historically it's usually been swarming pressure fighters who have troubled Floyd and AP was on a different level to Castillo, Maidana, Hatton.

Easy to look skilled fighting sub par opponents though.

Sub par? It was at world level, in fact other than the odd few, it was roughly even with Chavez's own competition

No he didn't fight the same level as JCC he never fought a world champion current or ex until he fought old Cervantes and his defenses were against sub standard fighters either coming down in weight or moving up because they could not even break the top ten above or below....when he fought Arguello it was Arguello who had been fight world champions etc......throughout his career not Pryor and he had been a champion @126 then @130 his best weight and @135 and then after nearly 80 fights he moved up to fight for the 140 title at his heaviest and most unnatural fighting weight.....kind of like Danny Garcia trying to fight at 147....when he was 140 champion the division was not stacked with world class fighters it was avoided as a no money division all the challengers were rejects from the other divisions...it wasn't until a few years later that marquee fighters started to stick around some
