most of them prolly signed contacts stateing if they were paid such and such amount of money that they'd wear the clothes for pressers and what not
If it isn't sponsorship then they hold stock in the company and are shamelessly plugging it so people like you will go out and buy a shirt.
The UFC's Dana White was trying to block the clothing line Affliction from sponsoring its fighters, due to Affliction apparently trying to start its own MMA organization. I belive Randy Couture was one of the first to introduce Affliction to the public and since then they have branched out into boxing as well.
"Hi I'm wearing a 45 dollar t-shirt. It makes me look like I have money. It also makes me look like I can fight." That's the subliminal message of fighters wearing these shirts and to the zillions of guys that follow them
jim lampley says kelly pavlik turned down all other offers and just markets afflicition. they seem to aim most of their stuff on fighters and i am sure they pay them very well. i personally love the line and its cool in my opinion to wear clothing that represents our sport. they could obviously use the marketing
No one wears Affliction round here so I bought a tee and there line is pretty damn cool if you ask me, but **** paying for those jeans, £250 is way too steep. I got soemthing of their Red Premium label. Better than Henley anyday
Thats funny! I guess they are like the new version of that annoying "Tap Out" brand that posers like to wear and put decals on their cars.
