There is one rule for Khan around here, yet another for others.

Khan to keep active before Ramadan (Month of fasting for Muslims) and due to Maidana injury is fighting Casamayor I agree a shot fighter.

But no one has even made a thread taking about Alexander the much hyped American fighter fighting Kotelnik a fighter Khan outboxed for 12 rds in an easy win for Alexander's main fight.

I know Bradley is ducking Alexander, but Alexander is getting an easy ride for picking Kotelnik at home, yet people claim Alexander is a better fighter than Khan.

Ask yourself this question, could Khan be fighting a better fighter in July if he wanted to? The answer is obviously yes. Could Alexander be fighting a better fighter this August if he wanted to? The answer is no. Khan, Bradley, Ortiz, Judah, and Maidana weren't interested in fighting him. He's fighting the best guy he can get approved by HBO. Khan is handpicking an opponent yet again. That's the difference between the two.

I disagree better fighters would want more time to prepare for a big fight, so would Khan.

I don't even think they made a real offer to Katsidis. There are other guys like Mike Alvarado who would've jumped at the chance to fight Khan. Lamont Peterson, Juan Urango, Kaizer Mabuza, Demetrius Hopkins, or Ali Funeka would've been better choices as well. Khan had options. His team chose to handpick a shot, fighter, who has a name but doesn't have the power or style to give Khan many problems.

Both camps would not want those fights in this small time frame, Khan the name fighter would not risk fighting a good fighter in a short camp.

Roach said this right after Paulie's win.

Alexander doesn't have the same luxury Khan has in choosing opponents. Kotelnik is a solid opponent, one that is worthy for a keep busy fight.

However I do agree, those that ridicule Khan's victory over Kotelnik, seem to be very silent now that Alexander's facing him. But again, it's not a reason to bash Alexander, as Kotelnik (the guy who beat Maidana) is still a legit 140 test for anyone.

They offered him the same money they're offering Casamayor now. It's pretty obvious, Team Katsidis were not too confident in taking Khan on, and wanted no part of him

It'll always be like this Darni. Even when he knocks out Maidana, they'll say why didn't he fight Alexander or Bradley.

Sad to hear it from British boxing fans aswell. Some of them hate him for what he does outside the ring. I mean what is it to them. Rediculous.

I'm still going to the Khan fight though. Support my brother whoever he faces

I was banking on Katsidis to accept the fight, in which I definately would have gone (seeing as though it'll be Khan's last UK fight for a while). But Casamayor doesn't really entice me, as I'm not prepared to make all that effort for a fight that won't even be competitive.

Why not? its a good fight and just b/c Kotelnik lost to Khan doesn't mean he couldn't beat Alexander. I don't see it happening but it's possible. Bigger upsets have happened. It's a solid fight in my opinion. It will keep him sharp and it's a step up above Alexanders biggest win against Urango.

Plus Khan isn't exactly fighting a live dog in Casa either. I think it's alright fro both to stay busy and fight who is available.

He figures if Pacquiao can get fighter of the decade fighting Mayweahters and other's leftovers then maybe he should try it and become an ATG.

The money they're offering Casa is about the same Katsidis got to fight Mitchell. Obviously he should be getting more to fight Khan.

Immediately prior to signing to fight Kotelnik, Alexander was prepared to fight the best available: Bradley, Khan, whoever.

Khan was not prepared to do this. He called out an injured Maidana. Then calls out a light weight. Then finally a 38 y/o who fought most of his career as a light weight and super featherweight. Clearly this was a cherry pick.

So how can Khan, or his fans, critisize Alexander's chioce of opponent.
