I get that Allan and Lou want more money, but what the hell is the point?
Even if he knocked the guy they dump on him to fight, his chances of making the semis are remote. I hope they give him someone who upset him and make realize what a horrible waste of time it was trying to force Showtime to keep Stage 3.

It's gotta be money. Allan Green has absolutely no chance of winning this thing.

It is called the super six right? I'm pretty sure dibellas buyout is pennies to what he was hoping to make against kessler. You can't knock a promoter and a prize fighter for scrapping for money. It's kinda in their job description.

:patsch Who are you to deny people for earning their money??? He is a pro fighter right??? He is still in the Super Six right?? Its not his fault that Kessler pulled out so I dont blame him for pushing for a fight in which he wants to get his earnings..This is kinda of a silly question honestly!

Super 6 has been a miserable failure to this point.

If Froch and Dirrell lose, and Green scores a KO, Green can advance with 3 points.

So are they continuing with the tournament setup where four guys will start an eliminator tourney next year?

Problem though for Green is he won't have anyone to knock out. They'll be hard pressed to find a suitable replacement. I know everybody says Bute, then Bika got in trouble with the Mendy fight, and then there's Steiglitz and Sartison, but Andrade would be willing to step in. Honestly though, I wish they would just ask Golovkin to move up and fill in.

How is that? Can you imagine the level of opposition these guys would have without the Super Six? Only Froch was taking on world class fighters on a consistent basis. You can't please boxing fans.

As for Green, its unfortunate that he will 'pollute' a TV slot. I hope they get Andraded to knock him out.

Look at it from his point of view. He signs up even though he was in a position where it'd be almost impossible for him to win, then they want him to drop out after he's had no chance to redeem himself on the same stage he was embarrassed. His career flouders if he leaves queitly after a one sided loss to Ward, maybe he makes up for it in the next round and is still relevant.

Andrade is looking to fight on the Pascal/Hopkins card, so he is probably out. It will be very difficult to find someone who is willing to come in with zero points at this point.

What difference does it make at this point? Whoever comes in should just be pleased with the TV slot and look for the win. The outcome of the tournament will have no effect on the new entry.

Allan Green is an ESPN2 level fighter.
