    Yeah, a bad way for ufc to be imo, part of what made ufc great when boxing was aggravating the hell out of people with all the bs politics, was that anyone was fighting anyone without a care in the world

    Wasn't it in fact Conor who started the discussion about this mooted fight first, by stating he would be open to the idea of fighting Anderson, before he faced -- and lost to -- Khabib, no less? Talk about counting your chickens before they've hatched. :lol:

    Anyway, to answer your question: because Anderson knows giving McGregor a pasting is easy work and a monster payday for him. Can't blame Anderson for wanting to cash in. Not that that makes it right.
