    Ha, agreed. Anyone trying to pass off Ward's style as the sweet science is way off the mark. Grappling, headbutts, elbows and forearm thrusts are good skills for a backyard brawl.

    There isn't another fighter in that weight class that would have garnered higher ppv figures than Kovalev. You aare actually blaming Kov for the ppv numbers? He's never going to be a massive name in America. Ward is American, Olympic Gold, cleaned out 168, unbeaten. If he's not a star yet then the blame lands with him.

    They tried to get him fights with the likes of Pavlik, too boost his marketability, but those plans failed to materialize.

    Andre Direll, all of the skill but just mentally lacking. One of the most disappointing fighters in recent years he should of had a glittering career but wasted his prime.

    Probably should have spent less time suing and more time in the ring. After he beat Dawson, he was supposed to become the next big thing.

    Same with Garcia. Goes from beating Matthysse to not doing much the last few years

    He's proof to what I've been saying all along to you stubborn people: being American doesn't automatically make you a draw in the US. It means zilch.
