His promoter was getting him $2m a fight against nobodies when he isn't a draw. I don't know what his issue with Goossen is but from the outside it looks to me like Goossen is doing a hell of a job.

I think maybe he's just dumb and has a massive ego.

 

I happen to respect Ward. He is a dedicated family man, by all appearances. But I think deep down Ward questions his abilities. He does not believe he is as good as the praise that he has gotten. I think he is afraid, frankly. He is afraid he cannot live up to the hype and praise being put on him. This is why he has been unwilling to fight. The legal stuff can be set aside if he really wants to get in the ring.

 

Andre Ward is the best fighter in the world. He died for your sins! Respect him!
