Because he fights against Murat. And Murat vs Hopkins is not a good fight. Thats why.
I mean Murat is not bad but he got dominaed against Cleverly and a gift draw against Campillo and fights now against Hopkins? Murats only chance is that Hopkins gets old over night.

I don't see what the big deal is. After Hopkins big win over Pavlik, he proceeded to fight Enrique Ornelas on Versus, which I consider to be a tier below ESPN. I also don't see fighting on ESPN as a negative thing.

  3. The original question is why is Hopkins on espn and not on pay per view. I explained actually pretty well why he is on espn and not on pay per view. Your a big fan of Hopkins, there is not a lot of you that's why he is demoted to espn, the guy was begging for a tv home after his last fight, because nobody gives a ****.

Lol at me being a big fan! He's a great fighter but I don't particularly enjoy his style....reminds me of Wlad in that way. But he's on ESPN because of who he's fighting, not because no one cares as you've claimed. Will he be on ESPN if he fights Bute or Froch next? If not what will have changed? Its about the opponent, not him. An actual boxing fan would be able to distinguish this.

  5. Well thats just dumb, people care about Bute and froch. So it would be on hbo or showtime. People like mathysse so when he fights Dallas its on showtime.

  6. Laughing at all you dumb ****s making it clear that you don't like Hopkins or care about his fights, and my point is nobody cares about Hopkins. Haha

So if Bute or Froch were fighting Murat you think it would be on Showtime or HBO? Lol, that's just dumb! :yep

  8. I know Bute and froch fights have less problems selling tickets

  9. I know GGG is on hbo with Proska, rosado, and macklin

Maybe the fact that neither is American ?

Their respective last fights were against shitty opposition, maybe shittier than Murat and they were on the top channels in their countries. :think

BHOP is a **** seller and a boring fighter. Deal with it. Denying it won't make it wrong.

This is definitely not a PPV fight. Hopkins vs. Dawson 1 didn't sell at all and that was 10 times the fight an even older Hopkins vs. an unknown opponent is.

I'm kind of surprised it's not on Showtime, especially considering the relationship between Showtime and Golden Boy.

Whats so bad about having your fight on ESPN. At least your on T.V. Many fighters would love to be in Hopkins position.
