Punched McKinney AND Erik Morales in the face at conferences. Did he pull any other **** like that? Wasn't he a god damned well raised rich kid?
The Morales one. They hated each other. But he just kind of looked away and popped him in the cheek with a short right hand. Funny ****. Morales went after him though.
From what I've heard, there was a pretty good amount of trash talking and nastiness coming from both fighters before Barrera-McKinney. And of course, the hatred between Barrera and Morales is legendary. Although I also remember that Barrera tried to reach out to Morales a few times and Morales wouldn't accept it.
Your right. He just hits his most hated rival in the mouth & RUNS AWAY. Morales chased him around the room, Barrera is a ******.
Barrera hates Morales just as much as vice versa, he KNOWS Morales wont shake his hand & he doesnt want to shake Morales hand either, he likes to paint himself as the good guy of the rivalry by trying to provoke what many would see as a negative reaction from Morales but in reality Barrera is just a little worm, at least Morales says & acts how he really feels.
He may be what you say as a person, but he beat Morales 2-1 and KO'd McKinney, so I'd rather be him and be a cocksucker than be lovely nice people like them and have lost to him.
Do you think cocksucker is a bit strong? ;-). It reminds me of a conversation I overheard one time. A father called a man and asked why his son came home with his eye in such shape. The man informed the father that his son put the other guy in a bad position and where this guy comes from, you don't wait around to get hit. I actually thought it was refreshing. I get tired of all the fake, pre-fiight and post weigh-in stare downs. Pure hype. Barrera obviously doesn't like people in his face. Lesson learned.
If anyone won all 3 fights, it was definetly Morales as he without question won the 2nd fight, you could see the frustration in MAB & his corners faces. The 1st & 3rd fights could have gone either way, they were too close so I have no problem with either decision, a draw would have been fairest for both fights & they cancel each other out at 1-1 anyway. The 2nd fight however went to the wrong guy so in my mind, Morales proved better H2H. Ps. Try watching all 3 fights without the sound aka biased commentators voices. You might not admit to ME that I was right but at least you will know yourself. :thumbsup
And then beats him in the ring without running at all. What's your point? Chavez is just as much of a ****** as Barrera in that case, given how he quits in fights to pick up cheap wins, talks trash about how he "easily won" fights he got schooled in, etc.
Then Barrera should stand & fight after punching someone in the face instead of running away as he did once Morales threw 2 `Im gonna kill you for that` punches. When I 1st saw that, I was happy as **** because I always wanted to see the rematch as the 1st fight was the best Id ever seen & thats when I knew the fight had been signed, I liked the fact there was so much bad blood, it made it better for me..... HOWEVER, once I got a chance to review the incident, I realised that MAB ran backwards, that told me that he only did that because there were people in between he & EM & he was just acting the big man when in fact he is a *****. How fans cant see right thru Barrera continues to baffle me, Erik has always been of a higher standard both in & out of the ring without question. Ps. I hope the next **** Barrera does is a hedgehog.
I`ll take it from the top 1st of all... Watch the 3 fights with the volume turned down, Morales had an edge H2H ESPECIALLY the 2nd fight which was the fight that followed this incident, so in reality, it was Morales who proved himself in the ring in the fight were tensions were at their highest & Barrera who did not match his pre-fight hype only to be saved by chuck Giampa & co. atsch Now... Nobody mentioned Chavez but I take it you are refering to the whitaker fight when you talk about `schooling` Just for the record... I thought Pea beat Chavez but a draw was defo not the worst decision Ive ever seen. Chavez did less than most expected & Pea did more than most expected so it was exagerated as usual but Whitaker did win IMO.
