I think you nailed it, and I’ve seen so many of this type of fighter be destroyed by a fighter with good skills and a solid chin. ( I’m taking Canelo)

Gvozdyk is no joke. His only loss is to Beterbiev who would likely mop the floor with Canelo. Canelo has one win at 175lbs and that was against a used up Kovalev. Canelo deserves credit for that win though, regardless of the conditions, it was still Kovalev in there.

Canelo deserves no credit for the Kovalev win since it was a blatant fix

I think people just see and asses with their eyes. He's big strong, good and comes to beat the crap out of anybody put in front of him. He has multiple gears he goes into, when he warming up and assessing his apponent very good boxers like Plant can hang with him, but as soon as he goes into over drive, he leaves them tattered rags. Can Canelo survive Benavidez over drive, or will he fall victim to it? Canelo and his handlers obviously have their doubts, 200 million is over pricing.

Beneavidez isn't a washed up 40 year old GGG. What would Benavidez do with Mell, Ryder and Munguia? He would likely take them all out, think about that. There is a reason Canelo would like this guy to just go up to 175lbs to stay.

I think that's part of it. Like Andrade who was chasing him for a payday, and Canelo flat out refused.
