Why is Bermane a HippoCrit? He Got Popped For PEDs Too...

The WBC Board of Governors decided after due deliberation that Bermane Stiverne had neither knowingly taken drugs, or trained, or prepared in any way for the fight with Povetkin and since he was just shoving so many things into his face without looking at them first, it was only natural that he would eventually ingest some PEDs through no fault of his own.

 

A million and a half dollar payday at the end of his career isn't half bad. This is a dude that went life and death with Rossy a year ago- that's his level now. WBC is crooked, but they cant declare him mandatory for Wilder yet (in theory). He'll need to take on another eliminator.

Besides, if the fight wasn't sanctioned by the WBC, a loss shouldn't have affected their rating of him at all.

It's a gamble he's taking that his next mandatory will pay as well as what he just walked away from, but hey, if Stiverne wants to trust King for sage advice, more power to him.

 

Yep. Some are on different forms of it. Some are on designer stuff nobody has even heard of. Some have the money for such stuff! Some have the money to persuade drug testers to turn the other cheek. Etc. It's all over professional sports
