Why is Bivol disparaged for lack of stoppages, while Mayweather was praised?

    LOL If I was 50 years younger Id kick Mayweathers ass too but Floyd would duck me like he ran from Antonio Margarito. His "security" looked after him

    He does receive undue criticism for being a points fighter but as I've said before he's small for the division and is constantly fighting bigger or much bigger men and he has also fought a lot of very durable opponents who either haven't ever been stopped before or if they have it's been very rarely

    Clenelo has never been dropped or stopped

    Zurdo never been dropped or stopped

    Chilemba has only been stopped once and that was on an arm injury by Gvozdyk

    Richards never been dropped or stopped

    Pascal has only been stopped x 2 by a prime Kovalev who was one of the hardest punchers in boxing history and even then he finished on his feet both times

    Joe Smith has only been legitimately stopped once (his early career stoppage was due to a broken jaw) and that was by Mr KO100% Beterbiev who again is one of the hardest punchers in boxing history

    Salamov has never been stopped and AFAIA has never been dropped either

    Lyndon Arthur had been stopped by Yarde but he fought purely to survive against Bivol and if you actually pay attention to what he was doing against Bivol he was catching, blocking or evading an awful lot of Bivol's shots during his attacks whilst throwing nothing back and you'll see how skilled he is at doing that

    Lenin Castillo had never been stopped before, including going the distance with huge LHW Marcus Browne who couldn't put a dent in him despite Browne being much bigger than Bivol who did floor Castillo. Castillo has subsequently been stopped by Callum Smith but almost all of the rest of his title challengers are iron-jawed or very durable, have never been stopped, if they have very rarely indeed, and when they were it was either on an injury or by fighters who were or are absolutely murderous punchers and top 3 hardest ones in the sport

    And again, pretty much all the LHWs Bivol has fought are bigger, much or way bigger than him

    Bivol might not be a massive puncher but he can punch and he hits harder than many think

    Mostly true Kellerman did like sucking Floyd off during fight.
    However Kellerman did push back after Floyd beat “Great Little man” Marquez
    & HBO allowed Mosley into the ring
    To pressure Floyd into the fight.

    People care too much over knockouts its just as impressive to totally shut out an opponent as it is to knock them out.

    The Floydettes worship him like he was the second coming lol He can do no wrong. According to Olu , Floyd was innocent in IV gate,because the NSAC said he was, even though he broke 4 or more of the NSAC's own rules on Saline drip treatment when he was caught red handed receiving it in his own home 24 hours before fighting Pac.The sad part is fans still worship him & buy his circus stunts

    Mayweather took on Champions,Bivol has not yet fought a Champion in his own Division after over 7 years as WBA Champion.

    I think we all know bivol is technically brilliant but doesn't hut that hard like mayweathwr. I think the problem is when you fight someone 3 levels below you that class should result in stoppages. Like May weather didn't stop elite guys or even world class guys but he would be too accurate and sharp for three levels below and would stop them. Bivol needed that last night cause against Arthur and Richards it was not what that level of fighter needed to be in
