Why is Boente keeping Wladimir away from pressure fighters?

    :rofl

Suleyman loves Vitali who is making him big money here in Europe, don't get it twisted. Don't you think they have the ability to steer fighters a certain direction when they hold all the major titles?

Just posting what a lot of people on here have said over the years. Arreola wasn't even competitive with a 38 year old Vitali he lost every second of every round and quit before he got KOed. A Wlad fight wouldn't be much different I don't think.

Arreola had the choice to either:

    - fight Wladimir in December (make a load of bucks)

    or

    - fight Stiverne in a WBC eliminator and avoid Wladimir (risky fight, for peanuts in mother****ing Venezuela)

    Mr. Magic,

Are we talking about the same Chris Arreola who lost to Tomasz Averagemek? What a pathetic loss for Arreola. I can't even take you seriously anymore. Wlad would brutalize Arreola at will.

Solis was the mandatory WBC challenger. Vitali is the WBC belt holder so he fought Solis.

Not much for conspiracy theories on that one.

Arreola would cry and quit against Wlad. His handlers know it so they shield him from Waldo.

Did I say he'd break Wladimir?

Arreola is a crude slugger at best, but he's a pressure fighter, Bernd Boente is keeping them away from Wladimir, and thats a fact.

It's no surprise at all that Arreola avoids Wladimir.

He would get picked apart and brutally stopped in 6 rounds. Wladimir would probably make Chris retire after that beating.

If I was Arreola, I would also try to get my hands on the vacant WBC next year (When Vitali is gone for good) even if it means less money.

Arreola would twist his jaw for him. Who has Wlad beaten? Nobody. The poor ****er was terrified of David Haye.

I couldn't name a single 'pressure fighter' at HW who wouldn't gas after 3 rounds.

if it wasn't for the Haye fight, Wladimir would have fought Chisora like he was initially supposed to.

A pressure fighter against Wlad needs to be able to do two things:

    1. Either attempt a super quick Sanders style ambush. Needs fast hands, excellent timing and and pair of brass balls.
    2. Hunt Wlad down round by round, constantly getting within range and unleashing combos once close, while dodging Wlad's octopus hug. This needs excellent stamina, footwork, defensive skills and last but not least an excellent chin because this strategy guarantees Wlad lands 2-3 bombs every time the opponent drops his guard and tries bridge the distance in order to attack.

There are no fighters in the current top 20 that fit either profile. A well-conditioned Solis would fit #2 but that scenario is buried under 30 lbs of lard.
