I have heard this channel is going to be showing MMA. If so, then why is it called BoxNation. I thought we were getting a channel dedicated solely to boxing and something that was going to put boxing back on the map. A bit ironic that it is showing MMA also. Makes boxing look dead and desperate. MMA is shite.
dont watch it then, alot of fans of boxing are fans of other combat sports one of which is MMA. IF it gets more subscriptions which means more money for boxing cards ill be happy

I don't know what they could show. I would love it if they showed Strikeforce. Bellator is a good format for them too.
Strikeforce is with Primetime and will be dead in a few months. Bellator would be my pick for them. Outside chance of UFC but the name of the channel and the unlikelihood of ****** making them a good enough offer would suggest not.
SF is with PT but I don't know how long their contract is. SF looks like it will be dead but it would be nice if they kept it as a second rate org or an org to prove yourself. Alot of fighters in the UFC make up the numbers and are in no way better than some guys in SF. Melendez would **** up a **** load of fighters for example.
Melendez is coming to the UFC 'very soon' per Dana White They're really isn't any scope to run a minor group - you'd only lose money on the events as nobody wants to watch or broadcast second rate product. And tbh they're struggling to get fighters to resign with Strikeforce.
