He is the "Can Man" AfriCANS!!!, He just beat the "Bleep" out of a MexiCAN, now he going to get his azz whooped again by an "ArgentiNIAN"
I read last night Broner said after he lost, he has gone back and is watching films of Maidana now, "to correct his mistakes". He also said he definitely wanted a rematch. I can't stand Broner, but I don't think he's being quiet about the rematch.
As much as I'd like to see Broner humiliated again, it's a mismatch and we're already seeing far too many of them.
Logically speaking I agree, I don't care much for the little chocolate meatball but if you study the fight he had plently of opportunities to dominate and even stop Marco's the barrage he absorbed in the begining threw all game plans out the window for Broner. As much as I hate to admit it he'd probably win the rematch. Doesnt mean I'd be rooting for the guy....:-((
No he lacked the confidence to initiate most of the exchanges and when he did move forward and asserted himself he found a good amount of success. Marco's is an awesome fighter and has improved greatly but he lacks the ability to box on the backfoof....move him backwards and he loses a good amount of his best traits/assests. I know, I know Marco's beat the kid pillar to post but I'm kinda OCD so I study the hell out of these fights and that's my beleif and I'm sticking to it...lol trust me I've won a good amount bread because of the casual fan mentality not saying you folks are....:good
:roflatsch He boxed like that because Maidana made him fight like that, he didnt choose to get his ass whooped!
I see what you are saying but Broner isnt fighting smaller guys anymore, he doesnt have power at 147 to force Maidana to be on back foot constantly, and add very low punch output to lack of power at 147 and belive me Maidana will beat him again, only chance for Broner is to use his footwork if he is flat footed he has no chance against Maidana, FLoyd is levels above Broner in every aspect of boxing and still had a lot trouble with Maidana.
Floyd is also a natural counter puncher who has become less and less assertive through the years, not best combo for fighting a guy like Marcos. Size is an advantage that Marco's holds over Broner and if he can find the same success he would dish out a similar beating. I just firmly beleive there were moments in that fight when Marco became somewhat unsure of himself when Broner pushed the evelope only problem is the stage was already set and Broner didnt have the fortitude and or intellegence to revamp the story line because of the shock of hitting the kind of adversity he was not either used to or prepared for. Put it like this there is a lot more potential for Broner to improve his performance vs Marco's improving on his showing in the first fight. Again its no knock on Marco's and I'm certainly not a supporter of that little twat.
atsch What could you have possibly seen in Broners fight agaisnt molina that would make you believe that a rematch with maidana would play out any differently? The man gave floyd a beating in a good fight and floyd is a thousand times the fighter broner is. people need to get off broners nuts already. the guy is a c level fighter at best. he will never beat any of the top guys.
